Amazon Prime Trial question

lately i've noticed that when i'm going through the amazon checkout, they offer me a 1 month trial of prime.

note that i've done a trial before around the time prime was first announced and offered.

has this happened to anyone else before? if i attempt to accept the trial will it automatically be canceled / or prompted to be billed for the service?

Yeah I got a new free trial offer last month after having done one before a couple of years ago. I wasn't charged for anything for this trial.

Though after using it extensively in the past month, I was sold and paid for the renewal after my trial ended.
