i bought the ps3 version. and it's bad. maybe 360 version is better.

can't wait for 2009 even when the game's lack of licenses are pissing me off.

Deepdiscount.com dropped the price to 28.99 for all 3 platforms, and also ships free, was thinking about getting the Wii version, thought it had good reviews. Seems the price dropped in other places as well (ebgames).

the 360 is a bit better but still really weak. If u have a Wii, that's the way to go.

Yes, get the Wii version if you can. It's brilliant. Quite revolutionary I would say.

QFT. The offline play is good not great (players still run for the ball out of bounds (when it's not their touch) even when you are in 'control' of them.)

Online play is absolutly fucking horrid. EVERY and I mean EVERY match is lagged. Konami must have like one server online in some hut in China with a 14.4 modem hooked up to the internets through Compuserve.

Hell, even the lead developer basically said the game was crap in comparison to what was their vision.

I'd wait for PES 2009. But then I would be supporting shit programming. Sadly, EA will be getting my futebol $$$'s next season as they seemed to be improving without dropping the online play into the shitter.:whistle2:#
 
This version was so disappointing to me, that I went back and got last year's version (only $9 at TRU!!!).

Hopefully they get their act together for next year, otherwise I'll go with Fifa (which has been improving surprisingly with each next-gen release).
 
Don't know about other version but the PS3's sucks. If you're buying it for offline then that's just ok. Graphic is only slightly better than PS2. I felt the gameplay isn't tight like it used to be. If you're buying for online, I think you're wasting your money. I'm so frustrated that I stopped playing online a few days I got it. There is always 1-3 seconds lag throughout the play. Wait for 2009, it should come out in this Fall (in Europe and Japan)
 
I just picked this up for the 360 at Gamestop w/ the 25% off coupon and paid $22(?) or so... FIFA is better... at least the "next-gen" FIFA's are better than the "next-gen" PES games... which was the opposite last gen. Maybe next year... but I doubt it, FIFA has been making really good strides...
