I hope I did enough combing through the deals to make sure this wasn't posted, but it looks like Amazon has the Dualshock controllers for ps3 for sale.

Yeah, that was a great deal. I had the game though. I guess I could have flipped it, but it doesn't get much in terms of trades.

I had it already too, traded Uncharted in to Gamestop during their $20 for a game on the list deal.

*edit* and I made my post to indicate that their could be a better deal on amazon for a DS3, guess I should spell everything out in my future posts.

Like irishsoccermbw said, many of us were getting $20 during that glitched GS promo that allowed you to put the $20(that was supposed to be off of another purchase) onto your EDGE card. I got 2 of the bundles from trading in HWV $5 games and I just flipped the copies of Uncharted back to them and now have 2 spares for whenever I might need them.:D

Those triggers are a godsend. My fingers kept slipping off of the L2/R2 buttons prior to getting them. Now I don't think I could use a DS3 without them.

I never could get into the COD games, but the triggers are really great on games that use them for the gas/brake for driving(GTA IV).

I hae these price differences. Not like a different color plastic is more expensive to manufacture...I think.

Supply and demand... If you look at the bestsellers in PS3 controllers, black is the most popular despite the higher price.

I miss the last gen prices for peripherals(which I thought were high at the time as well:D). There's no fuckin' way in hell Bluetooth connectivity, motion controls and friggin' rumble cost anywhere near $55.

I understand they gotta make some money, but for cripes sake a near 100% jump over last gen's prices is fuckin' ridiculous.:roll:

Also contains a rechargeable battery. I agree with you though. $55 is too much for a controller. I picked up the uncharted/DS3 bundle with credit and traded in uncharted for $20 credit.
