In what I am sure is a sale aimed at the riding the hype of the upcoming movie right now Amazon has each of the 4 season sets of Batman: The Animated Series for only $17.99 each which is 60% off.

Batman Beyond and Justice League also seem to be on sale.

I'm not sure how long this is going to last, but I think its time for me to pick up the last few DC animated universe sets I need to complete my collection.

Best Buy is having a good sale on these items starting on Sunday:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188953

Specifically:
The Batman (Animated): Season 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 >>>> $9.99 each
Batman Beyond: Season 1 / 2 / 3 >>>> $12.99
Batman – The Animated Series: Volume I / II / III / IV >>>> $17.99 each
Justice League: Season 1 / 2 >>>> $19.99 each

For the original series, skipping on tax is the savings from Amazon.com. Plus, this looks like a match to the BB sale, so I'd err to the side of Amazon.com for saving on tax + gas money.

All the above prices are in effect for all season of Batman now at my local BB (Columbia MD) There is a big display in the middle of the store.

You can buy them on best buy's website right now. Plus, do in store pick up to save on shipping.\

Edit: They also had the sets available for $18 in store as well when I stopped by this afternoon.

On Amazon, if you buy three or more of those Batman sets at once you get an extra 10% off, so that would save another $1.80 per set.

I wound up ordering Batman TAS 1-4 and JL/JLU 1-4

For some reason, buying JL/U 1-4 netted me a bonus 7.50 off my total, which i pleasantly accepted.

65.21 shipped for all of Justice League is a great thing.

I have been wanting to pick these up for quite a while, and watching B.Begins again last night made me need them even more.

I ordered Batman TAS the other night from Amazon for $18, but I might get the rest later this week... JLU S2 for $13? Hell yes I'll get that.

I grabbed Batman TAS 1 and 2, and Batman Beyonds S2 (already ordered S1 recently from SecondSpin). Can't really afford much more. I'd really like to try some Justice League.

Great deal, I picked up all four seasons for myself. Looking forward to watching all those great episodes.

I considered adding JLU S1 and S2, but opted to stick with Batman.

I picked up all of TAS & Gotham Knight at Best Buy.
Best Buy has Gotham Knight for 12.99, I think the 2 disc version was 22.99.
Then they had Super Friends for 13.99 a season. That wasn't on the big display though, it was over in the TV Series.
I was tempted to get Super Friends, but I've never seen it so I didn't. Can anyone say if its good or not? :)

Unless you grew up with the show or you're a hardcore JLA fan, Super Friends is probably not something you need to own. Even in its day it was intended for small children, and it's pretty outdated some 30 years later. There's a certain kitsch charm to it now, but that's not enough to make me shell out money for it.

I still have a strange urge to buy another set from BB though. :)
Maybe Batman Beyond... While it wasn't as good as TAS, I thought it was decent.

So there is Batman Beyond, which I think takes place in the future, Batman TAS, which is regular Batman, and The Batman which is a young batman?
So there is Batman Beyond, which I think takes place in the future, Batman TAS, which is regular Batman, and The Batman which is a young batman?
I know you are right on the first 2.
The Batman as far as I know, is just a different take on regular Batman.
One thing that I liked a bout Beyond was that Bruce Wayne was still in them, even though he wasn't Batman.

The Batman is a separate continuity from all the other recent DC animation shows.

Batman Beyond's quality was hit and miss, but the good stuff was REALLY good. Every episode they referenced something from the past was great. There were even little random things, like Bruce wearing the Grey Ghost's costume briefly.

I picked up Beyond season 2 and JLU season 2 today, thanks for pointing this out!

(don't miss the Batman Beyond movie, Return of the Joker. It's very worth owning.)

So I decided to go to best buy and try this since I was in the area. I was gonna get Batman TAS but couldn't remember if I had season 1 and 2 or just 1. I decided to check out the Justice League instead and season 2 was actually marked 14.99 as the regular price and there were 2 of them. I just took one and left the other for another lucky fan.

Yep, awesome movie. People just have to be careful and make sure they get the uncut version.

I have seen Batman:TAS because I remember liking the art style while over a classmate's years ago. Batman Beyond is the one I like most then because I like how it was different, but still fit in the Batman universe.

I'm going to pick up Vol 3 and 4! I've been waiting for a good deal on these, thanks!

I tried to do in store pick up but one BB near me has Vol 3 the other(which is another 10+ miles away) has Vol 4...so I'm just going to opt for Amazon with the free shipping.

While that complete series set looks nice, I can't imagine buying that being worth not buying the TAS sets for roughly half off. Amazing deals for the Batman Beyond sets, especially S2, which has over 20 eps.
apparently if you buy 3 or more seasons of batman, you get 10% off your order.

batman: TAS 1-4 and Batman Beyond 1-3 for 98! not too bad at all
Really?! I would definetly get it at that price, but after seeing that digitalbits link of the collectors edition I might wait for that instead.

Amazon has Batman TAS Complete Series box set up for pre-order at only $75.99! Link

Could this possibly get any cheaper at any B&M stores around the time of release? BestBuy has it up on there's for $114 right now, but I'm always hesitant to preorder things in case there's a sale. But, this is extremely tempting. . . .

The best episodes of Batman Beyond are the two episodes featuring the future Justice League Unlimited. Supes looks badass in his black and white costume.
