Hey all,

Didn't see this anywhere else, so figured I'd post. Amazon has a sale up now for 50% off select Sci Fi TV DVDs.

Complete series of BTVS for $100. :D I've seen it on sale for that before, but rarely, and never less than that. Looks like a buy for me. Roswell, Stargate, X-Files, Angel, Firefly (though Firefly is usually on sale for cheaper at BB)... Take a look

that star gate spin off DVD box sets can be found easy for 30 ... amazon says 50 then 1/2 of that so 25. Nah i pass thanks anyways though
 
It's been cheaper at BB and CC a number of times unfortunately, even with tax figured in there, for the individual season sets.
 
This is going to be a super nub question but The X-Files: The Ultimate Collection (1998) says 1998 next to it like that is when it was created but wasn't it just put out last year?

Nevermind I did some research and found out that it was released November 6th 07. http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/X-Files/7821. At $164.99 that comes out to $18.33 a season!
 
Thanks! Thinking real hard about getting the complete X Files set. Especially since I'm thinking of getting out of gaming, I need something else to fill some time and this would be perfect. I love the X Files, up to a certain point, but it would be nice to have this for the completeness.
 
Unfortunately, it's still not the good versions of The X-Files on sale. :(

The good versions aren't the slim ones. They are the ones in the big box with the bonus disc and stuff.
 
^^^ Are the episodes themselves the same and just missing extra features? If that is the case, I would be fine with that. But if the actual episodes are lacking, I would hold off.
