Amazon sent me a badly described used game

Has anyone ordered a used game from Amazon (sold BY Amazon not some random seller) and had it be screwed up?

I ordered the Last of Us used from them, they said it was like new with manual and all that stuff. Instead what I got was some ghetto Gamestop'd version with a gigantic unremovable paper sticker on the cover with no manual or anything, just the game. This is the first time I got screwed by Amazon used games, Ive ordered a few in the past and theyve been truly like new with no stickers or missing items.

Has anyone exchanged a used game with them? Complained? I would like to get an exchange or a price adjustment, but they dont have anymore used copies of the game to exchange, would they exchange it with a new copy?

 
If you contact them they will probably offer a refund in return for the game or a partial refund as they mistook the grade.

 
It was probably someone's crap that they fulfilled. They'll more than likely give you a full refund without a fight.

 
I know I can get a refund but I want to play the game and theres no similar option with prime shipping, so I would rather have a price adjustment or exchange

there was the pass and the naughtydog stickers, it doesnt come with a manual? When I googled "last of us manual" it looked like there was a B&W one with Joel on the cover.

I guess if theres no manual I have nothing to complain about besides this massive white sticker, which I can try to remove myself somehow

Probably. Because their "Amazon.com LLC" account doesn't sell used games. Only their "Amazon Warehouse Deals" account is the one sells used stuff, which is usually returns or stuff from they got from liquidators.

So if this was a Warehouse Deal one, someone who processed the return didn't pay attention(it's happened a lot lately with AWD). Otherwise, yeah, it's someone else's crap that Amazon is just fulfilling and the seller didn't give a crap about the condition listing.

The manual isn't included in the NA release. That manual is actually for the EU release, and generally oversea releases will still have manuals, and really only the NA releases now are the ones that will NOT include manuals, so just make sure to check the version of the pictures you are finding, and which version it's supposed to go to. Best way to tell is usually the rating since every region rating system will look inherently different.

Neve knew that. Amazon rejected one of my game trade-ins not too long ago saying because there was no manual which confused me as I knew it never came with one.

The giant white sticker is going to come on just about anything used and sold by Amazon. It's supposed to be on the case itself, not the artwork. Assuming that it is on the case, simply scrape/peel it off the case or invest in Goo Gone or try the Scotch Tape method, etc.

 
why not buy the game used @gamestop and use the BDay coupon and PUR card and there's no booklet
