noticed both games recently dropped in prices.

i would like sega to release more old arcade on-rail shooter like v.cop ,2,3. force feedback from wiimote makes the feeling of the gun like arcade version of time crisis.

i have the sonic's genesis collection for ps3. and if i was sonic, i would've included games from capcom and konami into the collection. but over 40 titles for 20bucks is a good deal if you're old early 90's gamer like me.

Sears.com has had the Genesis Collection for PS3/360 for $19.99 for the at least the last 4 months.

Got my copy there last July.
 
Yesterday I saw Sega Genesis Collection for $17.99 used at Gamestop. I may pick that up when they run the next B2G1 free.
 
Sonic's Genesis Collection should be a universal drop to $19.99. I know it's also that price at Best Buy and Gamestop.

Since we're talking about price cuts, why not... even if they're both pre-orders. Bayonetta 360 dropped from 57 to 55(ps3 version has been already) and both versions of Darksiders dropped to 53.
 
Sonic Coll. was a candidate for filling out the $80/40 at Amazon but the way prices drop nowadays i expected this...ordering this now with a paperback i had sitting in my cart.

I think that's part of the pricing war that all three have been in. Who knows though, could be universal. It's a great collection for the money.

I almost bought Sonic last Saturday (had promo credits that needed to be used before Nov.), but didn't. The deciding factor was the exclusion of Sonic & Knuckles locking on to the other titles (really what's the point of it if you can't hook in Sonic 3, you can't even get to the real final boss).

Guess I got lucky. It's cheaper now, but I figure Sega will probably release an even better collection eventually. Sega hasn't exactly been reserved in re-releases and collections over the last half a decade.
 
Anything can be a little bit cheaper but honestly, I think anyone who had a Genesis as a kid like I did would think this is a steal. I got it for that price after using one of my BestBuy coupons and it's well worth it. Nearly 50 games, a lot of them classics like Streets of Rage 2, for under $30..you can't beat that really. The only downside is that some may have bought a couple of those games off Live before this even was announced for $5 each(like I did - Sonic 1 and SoR2.....).

Buy it. I can't recommend it enough; it's a very solid compilation.
 
i can see this being on of amazons 9.99 or 14.99 black friday games

i want it just for the shining force games.. since i already have phantasy star 1-4 on psp
