Welcome to the Official CAG Amazon.com Trade-In Thread

THIS IS NOT A FLIPPING THREAD. USEFUL CREDIT TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES WELCOME, BUT KEEP THE PROFIT MARGIN TALK / SNEAKY OR LYING SHENANIGANS OUT

Hey trade-in pals! SENDING THINGS IN DISC / CARTRIDGE ONLY / GENERIC CASE NO MANUAL / ANYTHING BUT COMPLETE COULD RESULT IN REJECTION. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS. YOU MIGHT GET ACCEPTED, YOU MIGHT NOT. NO ONE KNOWS. IF YOU CUT OUT A UPC OR DO ANYTHING TO TRICK THE FINE(?) FOLKS AT AFS EXPECT IT TO BE OPENED AND REJECTED. THERE ARE NO HARD AND FAST RULES. IF IT IS ACCEPTED, IT WILL ALMOST CERTAINLY ONLY BE CONSIDERED "ACCEPTABLE." RISK YOUR TIME AND EFFORT AT YOUR PERIL!

I'm getting an acceptance rate of about one per day; it makes me think some supervisor is standing around with a glass of absinthe next to a couple of dumptruck loads of games...while the one responsible for the glitch is made to scan each item and recite its TIV with tears in their eyes. - Indigo_Streetlight

THANKS TO DISILLUSION386 and GI60 FOR POSTING AND MAINTAINING THE PREVIOUS AMAZON TRADE-IN FAQ THREADS

This thread’s primary purpose is to discuss Amazon.com’s video game trade-in program. GENERAL FAQ (Updated 12/26/2012)
Can I post a question on this thread?
Only if you can't find the answer from below. And please let me know if it needs to be added to FAQ.

Can I edit this FAQ? (updated 6/7/11)
You bet!

Since when did Amazon start doing trades?
The program began in 2009 and is handled by a third party merchant, previously known as NorAm International. Now known as AFS (Amazon Fulfillment Services).

What kind of shipping does Amazon provide us?
Free UPS ground ---- USPS is no longer available for free. There is now also an option to provide your own shipping.

Do I have to provide my own box or envelope?
Yes.

Do all my games in the same trade-in submission have to be shipped in the same box? (updated 3/9/11)
Not necessarily - people have sent in multiple boxes for the same trade-in submission successfully. It's even possible to send half at one time and the other half at the end of the valid shipping period. However, it's probably best to always ship everything at once.

Can I put separate trades in to a single box? (updated 6/7/11)
Sure, and they'll likely be accepted just fine. However, it isn't recommended since you would only have proof that you sent one of the trades (whichever mailing label you used). So it can be pretty risky.

Can I send in sealed games?
Yes. They won't reject games that still have the original shrink wrap.

Can I add Delivery Confirmation and Insurance to my shipment?
UPS Ground already provides you with tracking information, and I imagine you could get some sort of insurance added at a UPS store or location if you were so inclined.

I don't trust UPS ground. Can I pay for postage myself? What's the address?
Yes. You're more than welcome to do so. Just use the address on the amazon provided shipping label and make sure to get some sort of tracking.

When do I have to send my games once I have submitted my trade order?
You have 1 week (7 days) to send your games. There have been reports of submitting trades up to 15 - 20 days late, but that is definitely ymmv and not in the written rules. Send on time for the best chance at success!

Crap, I have one day to go before my shipment deadline, but the website states that my deadline has already passed. How do I print out a shipping label and packing slip? (Updated 9/9/13)
Load up any existing order (if you don't have any, check your browser's history or just submit a new one to use the link), and substitute the transaction ID for the trade-in order you need at the end of the URL.

Some step by step directions:
1. Go to your trade-in page on Amazon and find the Trade-In ID of the transaction:

Trade-In Placed:

August 24, 2013

 • Total Amount Submitted: $35.00
 • Amount Paid: $0.00
2. Copy the entire Trade-In ID (i.e. TRN-1234567-1234567) to your clipboard by highlighting it and hitting Ctrl+C or right click -> copy with your mouse

3. Paste the Trade-In ID to the end of this link:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/tradein/multicondition-your-account/print-label/ref=trdrt_ya_yaprnt?ie=UTF8&orderID=

So it should look like this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/tradein/multicondition-your-account/print-label/ref=trdrt_ya_yaprnt?ie=UTF8&orderID=TRN-1234567-1234567

The Print Shipping Label screen for that trade should now come up.

How long does the whole trade-in process usually take?
From the time you send in your games, it may take up to 14 business days for the package to arrive. Most people usually receive their credit (Amazon GiftCard) in 3 to 5 business days, however.

How long does the "processing" status usually take? (Updated 10/11/12)
Usually a day or two with little delay at all. It may take multiple days or even weeks if it's an usual item/hardware.

My games were received on Friday (based on Delivery Confirmation), will I have to wait until Monday to receive credit?
People have received credit on a Saturday.

I do not have the manual, cover art, or original case for a game I want to trade in. Will they accept it? (updated 6/9/11)
While the details specifically state that original packaging is necessary, people have reported in the past that their trades were accepted despite missing some of these. This is extremely YMMV, however since some were also rejected by missing manual or cover art. On the other hand, older gen games; such as SNES, N64, and GB cartridges, normally get accepted without the original box and manual, but still YMMV.

It should be noted that with the new condition requirements (see later in the FAQ), you may be able to send an item in missing some or all of the required items (manual / cover art / case) and still have it accepted in "Acceptable" condition.

I do not have the manual, accessories, original box, original included game, etc for a console or accessory I want to trade in. Will they accept it? (updated 3/9/11)
The current wisdom is "probably not" - it's pretty YMMV but AFS seems stricter than they should be on this. Your chances seem to be better for them accepting a console or accessory without the box / manual / etc if it's older generation or rare. You're more than welcome to give it a shot though if you're feeling lucky - just pack it well and include as much as you can! Don't expect greater than 'acceptable' condition though.

My game is really beat up, what are the chances they’ll accept it?
This is YMMV. Some people have reported in the past that they sent in games in bad shape that were still accepted. Your best bet is still to trade in games in mint condition. Minor scratches are expected as these are used games.

My game came with DLC codes and I used them. Will my game be accepted? (Updated 12/28/11)
It is expected that included DLC codes have already been redeemed, so you should be fine. It is a kindness however if you have no use for it to not redeem it and let the next lucky soul who buys it from awd or wherever have a crack at it. Up to you!

My cover art (PLATINUM HITS) differs from the pic on amazon, will my trade be accepted?
It all depends on the UPC so just turn your game around, type in the UPC into the amazon search box. If the game comes up, then it's accepted regardless of cover art. Click on that result to submit your trade.

I have a game from a limited edition bundle, will they accept it?
If the game’s cover art has a UPC barcode, they will most likely accept it. If your game's cover states "Not for Resale" and does not have a UPC barcode, the game will most likely get rejected. Some people have had their games accepted in the past, but this is very YMMV.

The UPC barcode is not intact on my game's cover art, will that be accepted? (updated 3/9/11)
This is YMMV, but probably not. The UPC is all powerful within the walls of AFS..

I sent in my games, all of which were in pristine condition with the original packaging, but they said that one game is damaged and is now being returned.
Always pack your games well. Put a lot of newspaper around your games in the box to secure them and to prevent any damages from haphazard box cutting. People in the past have requested their entire trade-in order if it’s obvious the damage wasn’t their fault, and Amazon ended up accepting the rejected game. This is YMMV as well.

Can I trade in multiple copies of the same game?
Yes. Once you click “Trade in” for a particular game, you may change the quantities. Once you submit, you can no longer change quantities on that trade-in batch.

How many multiple copies of the same game can I trade-in (updated 1/11/11)?
Maximum of 2 copies within 3 a month period.

I locked in X copies of a game but I now only have Y available to send. Can I just send in Y without being penalized? (updated 3/9/11)
Yes, you can always just send in a portion of your trade-in order and they'll just credit you for whatever they receive. However, the quantities you submitted for will stay locked in that instance (I think) so if you, for example, submitted for 2 copies and only sent 1, you may not be able to trade any more copies of that game for 3 months (see previous question).

Will the Trade-in of the Day TIV stay for 24 hours?
It's been reported that there is a limit (maximum # of copies) that will get the promoted TIV so lock yours.

So if I find a good flip, I can just send 2 copies of that game and not worry about Amazon accusing me of stolen merchandise?
Technically yes, but do keep in mind that other CAGs might want to participate in the current deal, and trading in a large number of the same game will definitely lower the TIV of said game. Let’s be nice to other people. This is probably moot for most folks now with the per account / address trade-in limit.

Wow, these TIVs suck (updated 3/9/11)!
Really? Hrm. While that may be true, they're often better than other comparable places. Your options of what to do with your used games are greater now than they've ever been, so feel free to shop your trades around or just sell them off on glyde/ebay/whatever. Also, not a question.

What the fuck? The TIV of a game I just bought for this deal tanked! What do I do?
The TIVs on Amazon fluctuate depending on the number of trades that are submitted, and we really can’t do anything about it. The best course of action for trading in games is to lock in your trade if you already have the games or are absolutely sure that you can obtain them. You can always cancel the trade submission if you end up not finding the games.
LOCK = SUBMIT YOUR TRADE, Don't just put it in the cart.

Can I edit a submitted trade?
Nope - once upon a time you could modify trade in quantities of submitted trades, but that ability has been removed.

Can I use my credit on items that are not video game-related?
Yes. This is the other perk for trading in games at Amazon since you're not limited to just video games.

Can I use my credit on items sold by third-party merchants on Amazon?
According to the fine print of the Amazon gift card use, some merchants are excluded. Your best bet is to try it on the checkout page of your order.

Strategy guides? I can trade in game/strategy guides? Whaaaaa?
Go to the Textbook Buyback section (http://www.amazon.com/Textbooks-Trad...ode=2205237011). You can either search on the title of a strategy guide you have to see if they'll accept it, or search for guides. The two best search strings to start with are 'prima guides' and 'bradygames'. Might try 'doublejump' if you want to trade in some of those. (Thanks eugaet)

I locked in some hilariously overvalued trade for some weird rare game/accessory/etc that I can pick up for cheap cheap cheap. They didn't accept it. What should I do? (updated 3/9/11)
The truth is that AFS can reject things for any reason they see fit. While some people have managed to get silly things like a $200 credit for some cheerleading game (or for a PS2 - just ask io!), it's sooooooo YMMV that often it's not worth the effort. EXPECT REJECTION ON THINGS THAT ARE CLEARLY MISVALUED. That said, as long as you're willing to risk it, go for it!

What's all this item condition nonsense? And how can I get screwed over by it? (updated 6/9/11)
We're still kinda sussing out the details surrounding the new item condition portion of Amazon Trade-Ins, but it looks like there's a couple things to consider:
Good Condition eligibility (games):
- The video game, original manufacturer packaging and all original elements are included, but shows wear from normal use
- Game still plays perfectly
- Disc may have light scratches and other elements may have minor damage
- Item may have been personalized (marked or identified)

Acceptable eligibility (games):
- Game still plays perfectly
- Item may have been personalized (marked or identified)
- Item may be missing or have irreparable damage to one or all of the following: case, manual, artwork, bundled accessories, UPC

Note that a game will almost certainly not be accepted if it meets any of these conditions:
- Game does not play perfectly
- Disc is cracked
- Marked Not for Resale (or is otherwise marked not for sale)

Consoles/accessories have some slightly different criteria, but the idea is the same.

Did it seriously just ask me if I wanted my game / other item returned if they refuse to give me credit for it? (updated 6/9/11)
Yes, that just happened.

Unless you're purposefully sending them things you deem to be trash, please remember to choose the option that has them return your item to you during the checkout phase.

Who is AFS? (updated 9/14/13)
Amazon Fulfillment Services (previously known as NorAm). Dunno if they changed names, were bought up by Amazon, or what. Not too interested anyhow.

Why does my package jump back and forth between states? (updated 9/14/13)
Look at a map of the involved cities and it'll make sense. Something to do with UPS hubs and proximity to the state border/cities.

Post away!

I see where everyone's coming from. It looks bad on the outside. If I were to swap NBA 2K14 for Forza 5, just swap no money back or anything. You dont think Walmart is not going to sell that NBA 2K14? Sure you could say whatever you want, on how its wrong. I just want Forza and I have 2 NBA 2K14 games. Either way it goes Walmart is selling the game. One less Forza, One Extra 2K. Flip it however you want, its going to get sold, and I have no problem doing it. Game for Game that's it.

Please tell us again how you ripped Amazon off by sending them incomplete items. None of us are angels here.
Ripped off? I've never sent in incomplete items actually.. unless you're talking about the Gamecube that I sent that didn't have the controller to which I submitted it as acceptable anyways. I didn't even have to include anything but the console itself and yet I went out my way to include all that I could include.

If that is ripping off than everyone in this thread is ripping off Amazon by your logic.

Know I don't want to argue but actually comparing return fraud with a trade in that is in complete order of Amazon's trade in policy is a bit of a stretch. But I don't blame people for taking advantage of Walmart's idiotic no receipt return policy. At least he's trading in a game of equal value instead of buying something cheaper at one store, returning to Walmart for cash like many return fraud experts do.

Is it really worth it to break the law?

I sent in BF4 yesterday. I don't know how any of this works, but seeing as BF4 is out of stock on the Xbox One, I might be outta luck on getting that game anytime soon.

Not sure what you're trying to connect Jaashuaa. So trading in games to Amazon in full compliance of their rules makes "none of us angels". Alright.

Are laws always right Deader? Is it right that walmart forces it's employees to work holidays? Is it right that they treat their employees like garbage? Is it right that they literally started a food collection at Walmart for Walmart Employees? I's it right that Walmart is one of the most profitable companies in the world and rather than pay their employees properly they follow the law and just have the government pay for their employees benefits? That's right 80% of Walmart employees are on welfare.

OMG! I'm going to get arrested? Well gee willickers Batman.

I should haven't replied to him. I didn't even know about that until he mentioned it.. I should have known there would be a problem. If its such a big deal, contact Walmart and tell them how dumb that policy is.

Everyone has different views. I'm done talking about it.

Didn't want to start a political feud though I still think return fraud is bad no matter where you spend it at. Not sure why the logic of if someone does something bad it's fine to do something bad back but that's more of your own morals than logic.

Anyways, do whatever you need to do to survive... as long as it doesn't infringe on someone else physically, financially, or mentally.

By the logic why even to return fraud? Why not just steal the games. They deserve it right?

You guys should all know by know that Return fraud is very frowned upon on CAG.

It's frowned upon majority of places, not exclusive to CAG as you may already know.

But he's right, you might as well steal the game by that logic since Walmart deserves. Might as well go inside their store and steal whatever you can since they are just going to treat employees badly (though my friends that work at Walmart like it. All they do is walk around all down doing the same thing any other grocery / electronic store does).

But I do admit Walmart definitely is not a great place and their workers do "suffer". But than again, most Walmart workers do the same thing any other job in that field do. And less since they dodge customers and usually hide in the back (if they are "helpers"). If you are a greeter that's an even worst do nothing job but you have to pay your bills somehow. If anything, I feel that cashiers and stockers do the most work but they still do the same if not less work than say someone working at Kroger.

Great thing about working at Walmart is there is a bunch of workers to help do the job. Saying less work might be the wrong words, more like easier b/c of the numbers and resources (self-checkout, lifts, etc.).

Literally just created an account yesterday. Sorry, didn't know this was such a hot button issue. With the way some people flip games on Amazon trades, I thought this was pretty tame.

If it helps y'all sleep at night, I told the Walmart manager that the games were a gift that someone bought on Amazon and that that's why there was no receipt. He still gave me the GC, because in the end, I still ended up spending the value of the gift card on groceries...and they ended up with 2 perfectly unopened games to sell full price.

Again....sorry for the fracas.

Edit: My advice: don't commit fraud. I guess I didn't even think about it...I just knew it was a thing. It's better, and will make you feel better if you buy em for $35 apiece from Amazon, and sell them to other people (Craigslist, EBay, in line at GameStop on Thursday) for like $50. You make a profit, they get a discount....win-win.

There is a huge difference between return fraud and trading in games. Hey, I don't look down on return fraud (unless you are literally taking money from another store) if you are exchanging something of equal value. Though I wouldn't do it, it isn't really horrible if you did it that way.

But trading in games that you got for cheap isn't bad. They set that TIV knowing that few people have these products and they are rare. We go out and find these products and get them cheaply with skill, not by simply finding the nearest store to our homes and getting the games. They sell those games for more than we paid for them and got TIV's for too. It's not bad knowing how to properly do trade in's instead of being ripped off on games you get / already have.

I wouldn't really compare the two. Anyways, no one cares if you tell Walmart you got it from XYZ. They're policy is shit and will continue to be exploited. No one can be mad at a store that even has an idiotic policy in place.

No offense but are employees forced to fill out an application and work there for their entire lives? Cause if so I was unaware of that. I could of sworn that people willingly applied to Walmart.

It's not "frowned upon", it is illegal.

Ok yes its not like walmart still has sport games from oh say... the playstation 2/gamecube/xbox?

Justify it to yourself however you want, it is ILLEGAL. Yes what you are doing is FRAUD.

So this is what happens in this thread when everyone is bored and or nothing good is their to flip. I thought all that off topic talk was reserved for AWD :p. Came to thank Backseatdog for posting that Kinect deal, got one collecting dust and that is as good as it is going to get so jumped on that value.

Not necessarily, but at this point its one of the only places in American that still hires people.

Did the same with the kinect from the $36 bundle ages ago. :D

Along with every fast food place and every retailer. There is plenty to choose from.

Flipping isn't illegal, lol.

Don't know why anyone would ever consider return fraud and flipping to be the same.
Because in their mind "return fraud" at Walmart is the same as trading in. They have video games isolated in their mind, but what they are doing is in absolutely no way different than someone buying a TV for instance that is on sale for $500, and "returning" it to Walmart for $1000. "Hey they are going to sell the TV to someone eventually."

It's both.....
Yeah but saying something is "frowned upon" is a bit of an understatement, for example, running over a group of children is "frowned upon" (see how that sounds?).

The term is mostly used to describe something that is "TECHNICALLY" not against any rules, but barely.

It's only an understatement if you take it that way. Not everyone feels the same way about return fraud as you can see here. Me saying it's frowned upon just means there is different levels to how people feel about it.

Damn, you guys are right, we are bored. Let's go back to ATIV deals.

PS3 Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix $19.67 TIV ($20 at Gamestop on Black Friday, good rental)

PS3 Tales Of Xillia $18.36 TIV ($20 Gamestop on Black Friday, good rental)

My guess is over the missing manual even though it doesn't have one. Did you put a sticky note on the inside saying that so? BTW, pull up the trade in page for it and it will tell you why it was rejected.

I'd give it a little while. They've been lagging on shipping out rejected items lately. One item that I had rejected didn't even get a tracking number until the 14 day point after it was rejected. Others have reported not getting them at all. They allow themselves 14 days for the return of your item, so after that point, I'd contact CS and get your credit that way...

It says incorrect item. My guess is that it is because my game was from the CE. Thanks for the input, I will be more careful next time.

All right, I will give them more time. Thanks.

Same thing happened to me with Tales of Xillia. Should I wait 14 days after the item was delivered to Amazon or 14 days after rejection? I don't see a date of rejection listed in my trade-in account.

Sad. Lost a lot of respect for a member that I thought was pretty good today.

You do realize they are losing money on you doing that right? Which is why its return fraud.

I'm sorry you did. At the very end I said I wasn't going to do it, so I'm not. Like I said earlier, if I knew people where
going to freak out I wouldn't have replied to that guy. He actually did it, not me. I do know what return fraud is, but trust me worser stuff has happened.

you did teach me a valuable lesson though, don't mention nothing anymore.

but its OK to buy a bunch of $18 games from Walmart and take them to BB/GS for $40+. Hey they'll sell them eventually right? I got my $22 extra dollars for every game I bought from Walmart because of their stupid mistake.
Those people are GOINGGGGG TO HELLLLLL. They knew better.

I'm not returning nothing, just a simple swap. Its a game for a system that hasn't came out yet, its not going to be sitting there for 10 years. It'll be gone that day, I'm not trying sit there and take money from them. A XB1 game (2K) for a XB1 game (Forza). Its a dumb policy, I know that. I never used it before or done that before. Its the only stupid store that does that. Sure I could trade with someone, but I don't feel like shipping or waiting for it. I could trade it in $40 and go buy Forza, but then I have to pay the rest of the balance. Then there is Craigslist, no thank you.
Like I said you are going to justify it in your mind any way you like. Call it a swap, call it whatever you want.

What you are doing from a buisness stand point is "Returning" 2K and "Buying" Forza... Except you never BOUGHT 2K from them in the first place.

Just stop talking about it now, you lost this argument and you shouldn't say another damn word about it, it is all around a bad idea to keep arguing in favor of "RETURN FRAUD".

It is INSANE that this argument even needs to happen!

Types of return fraud[edit]

Some examples of the return fraud and abuse problems include:

 • Wardrobing or renting: Purchasing merchandise for short-term use with the intent to return the item, such as a dress for a special occasion, a video camera for graduations and weddings or a big-screen television for the Super Bowl.
 • Returning stolen merchandise: Shoplifting with the objective to return the item(s) for full price, plus any sales tax.
 • Receipt fraud: Utilizing reused, stolen or falsified receipts to return merchandise for profit. Alternatively, returning goods purchased on sale or from a different store at a lower price with the intention of profiting from the difference.
 • e-Receipt fraud: Utilizing e-receipts issued when purchasing goods online, but returning them in store, to return merchandise for profit. A variation of the receipt fraud using the e-receipts.
 • Employee fraud: Assistance from employees to return stolen goods for full retail price.
 • Price switching: Placing lower priced labels on merchandise with the intention of returning the item(s) at the higher price point.
 • Price arbitrage: Purchasing differently priced, but similar-looking merchandise and returning the cheaper item as the expensive one.
 • Switch fraud: Purchasing a working item, and returning a damaged or defective identical item that was already owned.
 • Cross-retailer return: Returning or exchanging an item purchased at another retailer (usually at a lower price) for cash or a similar, higher-priced item at another retailer.
Listen arguing that flipping is in any way similar to return fraud is just a losing argument. Worse things HAVE happened but the reason I go into such a argumentative mode is because it just KEEPS being brought up, and it needs to be understood by people just reading the post that think "oh that seems like a good idea I didn't know I was allowed to do that" that it is in fact ILLEGAL, which in every shape and form is against the rules of the site.

I'll end it here. ^ Like I said I never done it before and I'm not going to do it. Last page I did say everyone is going feel different about it etc....People view things differently, we might not see eye to eye as the same goes for the next man. I would have ended it, if you didn't compare that to trying to steal $500 dollars.( the tv analogy) You may consider it the same thing but that wasn't even close, I would never do something like that. Now let's pretend this never happened.

I'm sorry homie. I should have know better.
Haha, honestly this is for the corporations to worry about.

You would think that if it was such a big problem they would fix it.

I don't do it or condone it. I just don't why they are worrying about walmarts financial situation.

I can't imagine them being like, "You return fraud brah? I can't believe it man we can't be friends."

Idk maybe something is flawed about my though but I just felt like saying it

/return fraud problems

Also to those trying to ratioanlize it, remember to look at the transaction process.

You go to BB and buy GTA5.
Return fraud it to Walmart without a receipt. Walmart gives you $60 (the same piece you paid for the game at BB) in Walmart gift card credit.
Walmart has to either throw away the game (if its too old and not worth selling) or sell it as used for $50 or so.
The problem here is BB gets $60. You may think Walmart is not losing money but they just gave you $60 and they will sell the game for $50. They just lost $10 from that return fraud.
But what if they can't sell that game (not likely), they just lost $60 for no reason. Even if you brought a game from Walmart with that credit, they basically gave you a game for free.
Even if you brought another game of same value in the store, they lost $10 or more from selling used.

Now flipping games through TIVs is much different and better for all parties.
I see a TIV from Amazon for (ex Rock Band 3 Keyboard Bundle) $95. Great I go buy the game at Gamestop for $47 -$60+. Gamestop obviously hasn't sold this game for months. They just got money from the sale that they otherwise would have pennied out eventually and thrown away.
Now I trade in the game to Amazon and earn $95. I just made a profit and helped a store by buying something they wouldn't have sold anytime soon.
I also help Amazon since they will sell a Like New game for $130+ and make profit themselves.

All in all, everyone gets money from TIVs. Now some trade ins do make a store lose money when you get a game for free and trade in into the same store but most of the time you get those games from paying for a service so they still made money, just now as much.

Also window shopping from getting you in the store helps too if you make an impulse purchase.

Anyways, just know that return fraud doesn't benefit anyone but the original store, trades in most of the time benefit everyone.

Know that I don't care for Walmart, I'm putting this out there b/c it can and has happened to smaller stores. Mom and pop shops, eBay buyers, BestBuy, etc. Mind you, you don't need to do a non receipt return to do return fraud.
