Amazon: Two SNK Fighters for $25.98 and Free Shipping

Amazon has Neo Geo Battle Coliseum AND King of Fighters 11 for $12.99 each. I know they occasionally have been at these prices BUT rarely are BOTH at this price at the same time.

I missed out on them when Best Buy had them for $9.99 each, so while this is a little more, if you buy both, you qualify for free shipping, and you save a little because Amazon typically has them for $14.99 or one at $12.99 and the other at $14.99.

Not the greatest deal but I figured these titles will be gone eventually (much like prior KoFs or other SNK games that sell for perhaps more than any sane CAG person would pay) ... And KoF12 is supposedly one of the best in the series.

Very nice. I already both of these games and they are fantastic. I was initially disappointed with the fact that the U.S. release of these games are only 480i (as opposed to 480p) for the JP release.

However, if you play these games on a PS3, they work perfectly, they are upscaled, and they do not have the ugly interlaced effect when played on an HDTV as opposed to the PS2 output.
 
How are these SNK games? I am talking about Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, World Heroes, Samurai Showdown, King of Fighters Ect. I have never played any of them, I was always into Street Fighter back in the 90's. Now that I see these games so cheap on PS2 I am tempted to pick a few up. However I noticed that none of them seem to have very good composite review scores on Gamerankings.com....

I haven't seen a KOF11 at any of my Best Buys in a long time. May be they restocked it? I don't know. It doesn't matter since I got em (and saved the trip). Out of curiosity, which BB did you see them at?

Well, these are great 2D fighter games. They're not going to score as high on grounds that any 2D game now (may be with the exception of Odin Sphere) just can't do as much -- and in most cases are about the gameplay over graphics. Doesn't mean they're ugly but they're not going to look even close to games like Soul Calibur or Tekken.
