Not all of the deals are particularly great, but there are actually a lot of really good games here. Hardly garbage.

Ah, I see you haven't played it or tried the demo. If they were to pay you $8 to play the game, they'd still be ripping you off.

Not nearly as bad as people say it is. It has received mostly negative reviews from people saying it's one of the worst shooters they've ever played. It was reported to essentially be broken. Having already ordered the game, I was a bit nervous. But I was relieved to see that it's actually an enjoyable game. Aside from the mindjacking aspect, it's a very generic shooter. The characters aren't particularly memorable and it doesn't have new gimmicks that make it stick out. Also, the story is a bit bland and lacking in details. But I've invested over 25 hours in the damn game because I enjoy the online multiplayer so much, especially when playing as the bad guys. A lot of things are definitely awkward in this game (the online battles, for instance, take place within the story rather than in a separate versus mode) but a lot of fun can be had if you give it a chance. But this is coming from someone who thinks the Modern Warfare and Halo games are shit, so I obviously have a different idea of what makes a game fun.
