Is the Amazon Video Game Deal of the Day page dead?

I haven't looked at it in a handful of days, but the URL I've had in my bookmarks for years just takes me to some generic video game overview page on Amazon. A Google search wasn't any more helpful in trying to find if it moved to a new location.

It wouldn't surprise me if Amazon axed the Video Game DOTD since they haven't run any real deals there in ages. I remember the "good ol' days" back in 08/09/10 where they actually had deals and people would rush to post the deals to CAG at midnight. Lately there haven't been many deals if any over the past couple of years. Though from what I've heard their PC DL deals are good.

I never used the Video Game Trade In of the day but that also had some good TIVs on some games if you were looking to trade in that particular game on that particular day.

But it seems like all that is gone now.

With the new site redesign I'm assuming they axed the DOTD program. I havent' been able to find the page for about 3-4 days and I checked it on a daily basis.

As much as it sucks I'm not really that disappointed because they haven't put any effort in the DOTD for what seems like a year now however I see "Digital" deals pop up all the time.

Yup, and it blows. At least it looks like they still have the Amazon Video Download deal of the day- I've been able to get cheap rentals of movies I've been wanting to see with that.

They did have good stuff on there like 1-3 times a year tho

It looks like they have something called "Today's Deal" linked here: http://www.amazon.com/Outlet/b/ref=amb_link_362606202_2?ie=UTF8&node=409566&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

But it looks like the the same few "deals" they would change weekly at the bottom of the VGDOTD page.
