Amazon Warehouse Deals Thread X

Oh when I buy a (G) Bravely Default CE its $38.95 but when everyone else does its $36.xx. Thanks AWD! It said packaging may be damaged. Maybe I shouldn't have canceled my new order at $45 but then again its not like it wouldn't have been damaged by Amazon's shipping. That is why this is here in the first place.

Well crap, I bought it too. That means one or both of them are getting cancelled by AWD (mine).

You guys just grabbed the CE that popped for $38.xx? I just saw it but was gone before i could post it,lol.
Yep, just randomly scrolled down the AWD page and there one was. If they cancelled it that would be fine if they would just give me my damn dirty apes already.

Edit- Mine's dated March 5th for whatever that's worth.

Good job Amazon! You're making my impulse buy of Bravely Default CE from BB look like a huge win. By the time I finish it, it'll be worth 3 times what I paid, and one of the few mint copies. Love game and the art book (even thought I would rather have a full size hard cover)

You'll get it eventually. I know you have the XB1 Titanfall Bundle AWD link on Page Monitor :D/
Nah, if one pops up at $370 or less I would grab it but I'm not going to sit and watch it the way I've done Tropical Freeze and BD. Now if the system was patterned like the special edition controller I would be all about it, or even if it just came with the controller.

Well today I received one of those 360 slim flipperdoodles with the Amazon exclusive holiday bonus and there's a 360 slim inside and a power supply.  The other compartment is filled with random manuals and inserts from various televisions and monitors.

You've been on a fairly awful AWD streak as of late. Have you gotten anything as described/not completely canceled recently?

Probably but nothing really leaps to mind.

Edit- Got a couple factory sealed dingers (ZombiU, Dream Team, Luigi's Mansion) about three weeks ago but beyond that just about every shipped order from AWD has had an issue of some scale. Which should say something when I get stuff from Amazon 3-4 days a week and 70-80% of it's AWD. I need to remember to start giving them bad reviews.

Oh and if anyone's looking for a physical copy of P4 Arena for PS3 I just cancelled one I recently ordered since it's going to be on sale on PSN tomorrow.

yup its dated march 5 as well.

if you hate the stupid used stickers as much as i do, pls leave them a feedback at www.amazon.com/packaging

and i missed the swagbucks discussion, but if you like SB check out perk.com. you can get a $5 amazon GC every 2-5 days

Is bf4 still broken on the ps4? I'm looking to get either that or killzone once they hit $25 on the warehouse.
I've played about a half dozen games without issue. Not the largest sample size though.

Killzone has been up for about $22 in the past which is a fair price for it.

Yes it is. But some people have perfectly fine experiences where MP doesn't crash every other match. Some have horrible nightmarish ones where even their single player stuff is jacked up.

Right now I would still call it a beta at best as even Dice has ceased production on DLC until it fixes the errors in game already...

This was my experience hence why I traded it in. I'll pick it up when they fix the bugs. I enjoyed the MP when it worked, especially when I was able to get a game in with fellow CAGs.

DS2U, could you explain how you get PageMonitor set up correctly in Chrome? I've been using the element selector to pick the lowest price on a page and it doesn't seem to pop correctly when stock updates.
Would like to know this as well. Also, been getting a lot of false positives lately too.
Time to revisit March 30th 2012 :). I posted a guide then and it very much still applies with some tweaking to what I know now, so on with it.

Before I begin, know this that you need to go to the main Amazon site, NOT the AWD site if you are after something specific like the vita in this example. It updates the used inventory faster there. Also you can fast click the link to the edition you want (if it is a console or handheld), and see each price. You will be lucky to see something sought after pop up on the AWD site since many people may be hunting a hot ticket item at any given time. On that note, the alert does catch AWD games before they appear on AWD and if sniped quickly (1-click) then most will likely just see a ghost listing on AWD by the time it appears on AWD page. Setting alert on AWD page also eliminates false positive alerts since only AWD listings will appear on AWD page vs every minute change that will happen on the main Amazon listing page. Now onto the guide:

This may help answer the question for few who are wondering how to use "Page Monitor" extension for Chrome.

Once the extension is installed, do this. Select the AWD page (not the main Amazon listing page to avoid false positive alerts) to be monitored by clicking on the Page Monitor icon and selecting "Monitor This Page" link (Use the link swapping trick mentioned earlier to get to the page if the game isn't out yet). Then go to Page Monitor options and do as following:

(You can choose to have custom notification sound, desktop notification, length of duration for notification, and the length of duration for refreshing as you please.)

Once done tweaking the settings, then do this:

Once you have done step 6, you have set the page to be monitored and you are set. A notification will go off that a change has been found but that is just to notify that you have set an alert. Mark it off as visited and from this point forward you are set to go.

Those step diagrams have been here since the 1st time I made the guide back in March of 2012 and it is under my profile in my gallery so feel free to revisit it if the need arises.

I hope that helps my fellow CAGs. Happy hunting everyone :)

Thanks for the info on page monitor. Figured it out for myself to help get the gold headset I got, but that method sounds better than what I came up with.

Thanks! I was using the wrong target. For some reason, using the number / low price tab works but just selecting the lowest price on the page doesn't always trigger.

Anytime! :) Using the selector on the used price box eliminates a lot of hassle with those false positive alerts.

Sometimes others are way to quick and snipe a deal before the refresh cycle hasn't completed and as such no alert ever goes out. Its like 2 clocks ticking but one is 5 seconds behind than the other and the one quicker gets the alert and deal but the other never catches it and keeps on ticking. Hence, at times no alert.

Woo hoo! My 60gb ps3 is finally shipping today! Got me scared after so many days in limbo. Phew!

And thanks DS2U. Should be a whole lot easier trying to find specific items I want now

Page monitor on AWD pages still have lots of false positives.
The only ones for me at all have been with Amazon's bots fighting checks when I set my refresh cycle at aggressively low number but other than that haven't had had one false positive and all alerts have been actual alerts.

Alertbox for Firefox is a viable alternative to C4C as well. C4C is just much more convenient if you're able to leave a tab open while staying near the PC.

my bravely default (G) CE came in $33.28 and game and cd are still sealed, box is crushed but everything looks to be in perfect unused condition. A Dinger for sure.
