Amazon Warehouse Deals Thread X

So I usually pass to a goodwill when I have time and I found a bravely default not collectors edition for 20, and a playstation gold wireless headset for 50 so stocked!!!!

 
Blech, I decided to hold out for a Wii Fit U Bundle with the board because all the boards our local place had were third party ones and looked like crap. So if anyone sees a Wii Fit U go up with a board and posts you'll be my hero. I'll be keeping the tab open so hopefully I'll catch one.

I just ordered a very good condition PS4 camera for $70.55. Don't know how I feel about paying over MSRP. Honestly what am I going to use it for?
 
Both of my Bravely Default CEs were dingers and shipped in padded envelopes. I can only assume Jay is in charge of shipping at Amazon. I'm not surprised but needless to say I will be leaving some not so friendly packaging feedback.

Flip it. I first bought a brand new PS4 camera from Rakuten last year for $45. I didn't realize they were out of stock until Jan 2014 and saw on eBay how people were selling for like $100+. I sold mine used for $100 the next day, but think I could have gotten more considering I have some used sell for $122 or so. Not too bad for some fun, free trophies, DLC, and some months worth of Twitch streaming.

I'm sure they will be back in stock at retailers within these upcoming months.

Well, I haven't opened it, but I'm in the same boat as you. I was actually meaning to cancel my order, but I got charged for it early Sunday. There's a trophy for PLAYING the game for over 15 hours, which means it must be very short. I know quantity doesn't equal quality, but apparently the quality's not that great either, lol.

Ah, I see... all I know that the AI seems last generation (dumb!) which sucks and is my big turn off.

Currently playing through Thief on my PC. I can say its pretty good, but definitely not something you'd want to be paying anywhere near full price for. The AI really is pretty bad in some ways, which does take away from a game thats 95% stealth and sneaking by guards. As for the length, I did check HowLong2beat.com and it seems like its about an 8 hour campaign which is right around the sweet spot for a game of this type. Any longer and it would feel like it drags forever, and any shorter you may feel ripped off. I am enjoying it, and will be finishing it sooner than later, but I would be upset if I paid full retail for it.

One huge gripe I have with the game is the actual stealing. You're just walking around pilfering tons of shit, and amassing money, but thats really as deep at the thieving mechanic goes. It would have been cool if there were different fences set up around the city that would only accept certain types of goods, and you had to actually sell the items to them to convert it into money. instead you just steal stuff that is magically, instantly converted into money that you seem to spend with one shopkeeper

 
I'm watching AWD for Thief. I wouldn't pay $60 but once it's around $30 maybe. I kind of half expect it to be a PS+ game in the first year, though. Same with Knack and possibly Dying Light? Not sure about Dying Light but maybe.

 
Well my Thief is still preparing for shipment but as long as it ships I don't think I can regret it at $41.  At worst it will be a low cost rental.

 
So an AWD order I had was split into two shipments (from separate warehouses i presume), and one half of my order has been "preparing for shipment" since Sunday. Still has the same estimated delivery (3rd thru 6th) as the half that's already been shipped. Should I be worried, or have other folks had similar experiences?

Every time I've had orders split from Amazon, they never just sat for a whole week.

I have had similar experiences. If it is preparing for shipment you should be okay. :)

 
just got my acceptable hori stick. FREAKING PERFECT.  For $31 its just as good as that madcatz $140 tournament edition stick I ended up trading in.  Very happy with my purchase

now time to kick ass at third strike again, top 50 ranked urien in the world

Theres at least 2 out there. One I sent back to amazon and one I got at my house right now about to go back.

I really dont see how they could be missing, what would someone even use the dongle for? First one was clearly used but in great shape, just figured the guy forgot to put it in the box, maybe left it plugged in to his ps4 on accident.

Second one today just had 2 pieces of scotch tape on the box, no AWD sticker (first one had that sticker) but was again in really good shape minus the dongle.

I called Sony directly after the first one came without it, girl I talked too seemed like she didnt know much, but from what I could gather they dont sell replacement dongles either.

So long story short, at least 2 gold headsets floating around now with no dongle. Both were rated G when I got them, so if you go to buy one go for VG or better.

I just got the shipping email a couple minutes ago.

Edit- I just looked after noticing the delivery date is like two weeks away and ewwwww UPS Media Mail. I really want to know what kind of price a retailer of that size pays for such an atrocity because it is so terrible. Especially when I can ship a standard game anywhere in the continental US for just over $2 through USPS and have it be there in 2-5 days. If I ever ship anything that way someone needs to knee cap me Nancy Kerrigan style.

Finally was able to check out my 60gb ps3. The thing is super dusty, but there isn't a scratch or scuff to be found. The one weird thing I noticed was that the controller was DS3, not SIXAXIS. Which was interesting, but I'm not complaining :p

 
I just noticed on my phone I've had that "replacement PS4" page on Amazon open from months ago when someone posted it.  I think that was from SD though.  Anyway, not only can you get a new one from that page but they also have 10 used ones from warehouse deals listed too.  Starting from $236.  Thought that was interesting.

Sold my PS3 Collectors Edition today for $50 cash

Lowest price on Amazon is $60 so he saved $10 and I got rid of something I barely touched

P.S. still looking for a copy of NSMB 2 and Luigi's Mansion for the 3DS havent seen many pop up in the past month or so shame
