What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
From Amazon: Get deep discounts on open-box, like-new, refurbished, or used products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com's rigorous standards as "new".

Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, new but with damaged packaging product aka "dinger" and trade ins in generally like new condition. They are considered 3rd party by affiliation and as such the "Amazon Warehouse Deals" distinction but are still part of Amazon.

About AmazonSmile

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes! All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken during restocks and or when pricing algorithm goes haywire. During those times, prices don't adjust and assimilate with the current inventory quickly enough to show the sorting as such

I'm waiting for a ps4, xb1, 360, ps3, 3ds, or PS Vita to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it, and or set alerts... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

What was Penny Deals?
In early September of 2011, tons of newer release, more expensive games popped up for 1 penny each. Many CAG members placed orders, expecting them to get cancelled. Some were cancelled, however many CAGS got a large amount of games for a penny each. There has been no confirmation what exactly happened and why these games were sold for a penny.

What is this "glitch deals" that I keep hearing about in this thread?
On August 7th, 2014, AWD glitched out similar to how it did around penny deals, except lot of stuff went for cheap instead for a penny. The pricing algorithm went haywire and in the process lot of stuff went for cheap across the AWD spectrum from games to iphones to tablets and everything else in between. The "glitch deal" lasted for maybe a couple of hours and fellow CAGs that were around during that time made out like a bandit. Below is the timeline leading up to the night and the deals that went down on that night.

I ordered the PS4 version of a game that’s no longer on sale, and Amazon sent me Xbox version. I’m going to return it, is there anyway they’d send me PS4 version and honor price or just refund me the money? It was a gift so I really wanted it

If it was an awd item then refund will likely be your only option. If it was a new item sold by amz they probably will ship a replacement if you ask for it.

Yea, I never seem to be able to see any of the sub-$3 game deals when I just sort by low-to-high in AWD Video Games... but I usually don't care since I am too cheap for prime. Keeps that impulse buying in check!

Cool, clicked on his tweets and saw an old one for a Nintendo Famicom Mini for $45 and decided to bite. Not a great deal considering -NEW- Is $70, but the mini controller slots are cool and I want it for the shelf!
This Used-Acceptable item came today and happy with the condition - box was a little dented up but none of the tape/stickers left any residue and the unit was like new. Wrapped it up to put under the tree for myself!

Bought a used "acceptable" dualsense controller for $55. Item description had the description for used games (ie. Large mark on disc, not in shrink wrap, bonus code for online content may be missing). The controller came in perfect condition without a single scratch. Initial 5 min test shows everything is working.

I ordered a picture frame from AWD, it shipped yesterday and I checked the tracking. I don't think it will ever be delivered if it's on a different continent.

"Package arrived at an Amazon facility
Itapevi, SP BR"

I ordered something that shipped from there and it took 5 days. The item's box looked like they kicked it half the way here even though it was new.

Was gifted prime recently (very unfortunate) so now I've bought some random games from the warehouse ... hope they come complete and/or  work!

They also have a listing for the EU version of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition (Limited Edition) - Collector's Set (Nintendo Switch) ... for $180  :oldman:

Those prices you got are what we used to see on a regular basis around here and it was amazing. There was one season when the OG Xbox ones had been out roughly a year and they’d started selling Kinect-less bundles and they’d go for $80-120 multiple times into the wee morning hours daily

The good old days of AWD. I got a switch in a dinger box just a few months after launch when they were still hard to find for $240.

i got the same, kind of funny that they still pop up at the same price (or higher) years later. though mine wasnt a dinger, someone bought it to play BOTW and then traded it in. i also got a cod black ops SE ps4 for $280 a destiny SE ps4 for $240, those brand new dualshock 4s for $30, and a few vitas at around $100. man, i miss AWD

There's still some good stuff, but rarely these days do I find something under gaming.  This morning, I grabbed a 650w gold Seasonic sfx psu for $71, which is literally half off msrp on a product in low supply.

Yep outside the switch lites for around 140-170 the last good deal was the ps4 pro controllers brand new for 19$.  I only bought one and regret not getting more but I didn't want to be greedy. Now I have 2 more of them and 3 other controllers since my slim ps4 controller is prettymuch dead.  Will charge but wont turn on/connect. And the battery life on these things is terrible.

I just searched for items I wanted. For trash bags, I typed that in the search box and went through the results and around half of the first 12 or so items that came up were discounted. Same with other items like Pop Tarts. The first 4 results are all 50% off.

Nice, picked up a bunch of household items for cheap. Thank you

I used the filters to narrow down by category>system>games. You can't do games for all systems, so this is what I found to be the best way to look find stuff without going through 70 pages of cheap, off brand accessories.

Make sorting through trash much easier and more efficient.

Well, this certainly is a new one:

This was a 3rd party Switch dock for connecting it to our 2nd tv, so no big loss.

Yeah I'd go ahead and request the refund. On some occasions I've had the package still be delivered afterward and was told to keep it.

Which 3rd party dock did you get? Pretty much all of them have at least one customer review saying it damaged/bricked their console. Regardless I took a chance on this:

I got the same one. It actually arrived shortly after I posted, via UPS (even though the Amazon tracking showed an Amazon tracking #). I'll be using a 1st party power cord, so hopefully I won't have any issues with the dock.

Finally got a next gen console on Amazon Warehouse. Don't know how long I have tried saw a PS4 for $580 so many times but missed out. Than I saw it at $520 and missed it by a little bit. Price isn't to bad considering they MSRP for $300.

Got another now is the time.
If anyone needs a Series X I have two used ones coming in. Spent $50 off MSRP for both. So $267.90 each. I will be listing then on Facebook Marketplace for pickup.

A well constructed, roomy switch lite case is currently below $5 with qty of 28. I bought the yellow version during the 20% awd promo and was impressed with it. Grabbing another since gray will better match the z&z edition lite i own.

These dropped to like $3.4x before they went out of stock, I have plenty of themed cases for switch+lite for fun, but most aren't that functional (switch lite with a bulky case = what's the point?) :oldman:

PS5s and XBSX look to be popping up from Amazon Warehouse, usually < MSRP if G-, > MSRP if G+.

I wasn't rolling the next gen dice, but did grab a White Gameboy Advance for $35 in good condition - even came with a battery cover!

Dude, super jealous of that GBA. You seem them pop up often?
Was the first one I saw I think, usually check for Vita, Wii, Wii U, and GB consoles in the warehouse. usually a bunch of crap mis-identified, or just too high price. (like currently a Red Wii is there for 125 which is too much w/o the original packaging heh)

I think I've seen you post a ton of console on the GS thread too... I don't get how some of you guys find these deals. Every time I look, I just find junk.

Mostly just having a bunch of tabs open to the various pages and still "working from home" so I have the opportunity to check every few hours when I get bored. Closing tabs is the best!

I know Amazon usually updates live but I thought GS only updated like 10 AM CST or something?

Honestly,  Warehouse descriptions don't really mean anything.

I've had like New Super Nintendo cartridges show up cart only with the board outside the cart shell  and acceptable monitors arrived with  a slightly torn off UPC in a pristine box.

Same. I've ordered 'acceptable' consoles before and gotten mint condition, with maybe a little scratch on the box. YMMV though. Hopefully you get a nice console!
