Amazon - Xbox 360 F.E.A.R: First Encounter Assault Recon - $29.99

Hopefully this is an imminent sign of a universal price drop. Thanks OP. BTW is there a new/enhanced version of FEAR coming out this fall.

hmm I already played this out on PC, but for some reason I want to play this game again to get the achievment points lol.

FEAR Files for 360. Im not sure on the release date but its not the same game. It will come with 2 disc, one that is the expansion which hasnt come to 360 and the other is you replaying the first game through the eyes of others.

So its a new FEAR but not exactly the same. I really enjoyed this game and would recommend it to others for $30.

Also tenzor, the game is not so easy on the achievement points. After a single normal playthrough i had a grand total of 75 points. I might have tried to get more points if it werent for all the games i had yet to play from the holiday season. Note: Many of the achievements revolve around online play too.

If you want achievements, stay away from this game. Seems like a major pain in the butt to get the full 1000 (or anywhere close to it).

Yes the achievements are difficult and involve playing the single player game a number of times. Most MP achievements only give you 5 points per achievement too.

As for the new version, I can't believe they are going to release a new game on 360 with just 2 expansion packs and not the original game. If that is the case then this better not be priced as a full 59.99 retail release! 29.99 budget price would be nice but you know that isn't happening.

Both games will carry 1,000 points, making it the first game you can buy with 2,000 points total in the box.

Besides $30 a piece sounds right for two expansions.

haha thanks for the heads up on the achievments. I am having a hard time with Command and Conquer 360 right now getting achievments , and this looks even worst.
