What was Rome like a week or two ago? Was it $60 or $70?
lowest was $59.99 - 5th Dec.

it was 60$ as Deal of the Day, so i doubt that qualifies.

I just bought the Sopranos Season 1 from Best Buy yesterday since Amazon hadn't matched it yet. Amazon seems to like to torture me by price matching things the day after I buy them from someone else.

That's what I was talking about.

Just missed the Rome sale on Amazon. Shame on me for hesitating... I did grab Generation Kill, thankfully. Read the book, and love them both.

First post, btw. Been learning from you folks for a while now. Time to contribute :)

In case anyone needs a $0.01 filler, here's one I've used in the past.
I bit on True Blood Blu ray for $24.99, you cant beat that price
Agreed, now only if season 2 presale price would go down to $25 i would be happy.

this is great.. thanks!

ofcourse, i didn't want to wait too long, so i threw in TSCC Season 1 for $22. I'm sure it will settle drop further but that's low enough for now.

Is True Blood good? I've heard good things about it, and I know this is a great price. Just don't wanna get into some girly Twilight stuff and looking for some CAGs opinions.
Man why is Rome still so expensice!
More then likely because it is HBO.

$60 - $65 is a pretty good price for 2 seasons of one of the best historical shows made.

Good show, not for everyone though. It isn't anything like Twilight and other goofy vampire crap that has come out in the last couple years.

It takes a couple episodes for the story to draw you in and get rolling. Don't dismiss it after the first few episodes.
