You're right, that's been the first lesson in republican politics 101 for the last 5 years, you don't need more votes to win.
 
Democrats vs. Republicans has essentially become the political version of the Bloods vs. the Crips, the Hatfields vs. the McCoys, or whatever analogy you would prefer IMO. :lol:

I'd like to see more independants myself.
 
I think you'll see some interesting elections this November, like the VA governor's race.

The Democrats don't need to win any elections. All they have to do is wait a couple more years and all the Republicans will be in jail, and the Dems will control the government by default.
