Amero coming, says Fox.

1. You're only as good as your source.
2. Conjecture is not reality.
3. Ex-presidents say lots of things. Ask Carter.

Non-issue, and I don't get the big deal on this anyway.

WorldNetDaily is an isolationist, paleoconservative rag mag. It likes to bring up as many issues as possible, even if it bends and tweaks the stories, to push their own agenda. I used to read WND every now and then, but I really can't stomach it anymore.

Though, Chuck Norris occasionally has an interesting article or two over there.

then you must not be aware that the dollar is being & has been devalued.

study up on "problem, reaction, solution"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thesis,_antithesis,_synthesis

problem: our fiat currency is purposefully devalued by the central banks, federal reserve, etc.

reaction: an outcry, the demand for something new, with value.

solution: same people who tanked the dollar (central banks, federal reserve, etc.), propose a "euro-dollar", which will be half the value (or less) of the current dollar, obliterating the middle class.

.... and how is that a non-issue? oh... i get it, you must be in that 1% of the entire population that owns over 40% of the world's wealth. http://money.guardian.co.uk/news_/story/0,,1965033,00.html

In other words, Presidente Fox slipped up and admitted to something that is supposed to be hush-hush, non-existent; which is the United State's gradual slide into a North American Union.

Have a nice day ;)

I dont see this happening any time soon. Americans are way too Nationalistic to even consider merging the dollar with the loony and peso; even if it would be beneficial to them.

That about sums it up...

Seriously, I appreciate that you think that garbage makes sense, but I actually understand Economics 102. Go find a middle schooler to spout that ignorant filth to.

Or: How I learned to stop worrying and not give a shit about Bretton Woods.

Wait.. who?

Thereby asserting the once and future dominance of the Illumanti, Free Masons, and Muppets.

Oh, and the term "eurodollar" is already used in finance and economics to describe a concept totally different from your crap example. You should learn the lingo if you're going to pretend to an expert.

Oh, wow, I see what you did there. You both took a shot at me, while "supporting" your argument by asserting the interests of the rich in the... devaluation of their currency. Wait, what?

In other words, Presidente Fox slipped up and admitted to something that is supposed to be hush-hush, non-existent; which is the United State's gradual slide into a North American Union.
OH MY GOD MY HAIR IS ON FIRE I CANT EVEN THINK OF WHY A NORTH AMERICAN UNION WOULD BE A BAD THING BUT THAT WONT STOP ME FROM SPOUTING TACIT RACISM AND FEAR MONGERING.

What a special individual you are. You see the truth for what it really is. You're unique, just like all the other uniquely ignorant assholes out there.

Next time a real, actual economic fact somewhere, ANYWHERE in your post would be a good idea.

Have a nice day ;)
You too.

OH WAIT NOW I CANT HAVE A GOOD DAY IM TOO BUSY BEING AFRAID OF THE MESSICANS.

OH NOES.

When I see Mr. Fox speak next week, I'll be sure to ask the moderator if Mr. Fox could expand on how he plans to kill America's middle class by destroying our currency.

I already did. ;) And you know what? He quickly turned off the FoxNews & MTV and picked up a pre-WWII book. He found out how good germans were turned into bad germans.

ok.... just kidding, i just made that up. but you get the point.
OH WAIT NOW I CANT HAVE A GOOD DAY
No, no... I really want you to have a nice day. I meant to put a smiley, not a wink.

Have a wonderful Sunday. :D

You know, there are significant benefits to having a currency that extends outside one's borders. I'm not suggesting we do it, but there are positives.

The knee jerk reaction to this is tired.

Oh yeah, what are the benefits? I'm not being an ass. While I may be good at interpeting the hell out of words, my business and math skills (and interests for that matter) are lacking.

I could probably do some research but I'm lazy so do the thread a favor and tell us what the benefits are.

Some I can guess: (1) Ease of use amongst Can/mex/US. But is this really an issue anyway (curious to see how much the inefficiency of the N. American conversions cost)? (2) Europeans will think we are cool like them?

Does the fact that several nations use the same currency actually make the currency any stronger? Perhaps more stable? Is a detriment that we are "putting alot of our eggs in one basket?"

What's that? That we've tied our economy directly to one that is in a shittier state then ours, see Mexico. No thank you.
Their government and economy is in the shitter and you think it's fine to tie ours to theirs? I mean a corrupt government, police force, no jobs or one's that don't pay well. It's so bad in Mexico City kidnapping is a regular thing for people WITH money. Seen "Man On Fire"? You want us to get there?
The ONLY thing that is keeping constant riots from happening there all the time is the Illegal Immigration coming here to work and send money home. Like 50% of the income Mexico gets is FROM Illegal Immigrants working here.
