It reads like it can be multiple purchases but the only stipulation seems to be it must ship before 12/31/13

Edit: Maybe not...the further I read the more it sounds like one purchase.

no i think they mean it has to be 1 transaction but ALL items must shipped before dec 31 so that they can receive info.. seriously the safest way seems to be to just buy a $75 amazon card.. and get the $25 credit since there doesn't seem to be anything about not including gift cards in the terms and usually for example they would include it like in the lands end offer..

 
this offer did not show up on americanexpress.com when I looked for offers.  it was on the second to last "load more offers" round on the facebook app.  appeared as an added offer on americanexpress site instantly.

 
im not too sure about the gift cards cuz it says "Sold and delivered by ACI Gift Cards, Inc., an Amazon company" so if the statement says aci or something instead of amazon you will not get the credit..im chatting with a CSR and they seem to be of no help lol.. they have no idea what im talking about..

 
Soooo i took the risk and bought a $75 gift card :p..i can confirm that the merchant on the statement says amazon.com LLC :) yayyy

 
It doesn't send you an email when you use it saying that you got money back? For small business saturday, they sent me an email saying that I got $10 back for using my card right after I used it.

No but you get the credit really quickly. My Walmart one showed up and I just used it on Friday.

Yeah I get the same emails for the gas station and such. Maybe it has to ship before the email is sent in this case.

 
Signed up on the Facebook App, added the offer to my card, and bought a $75 Amazon.com digital gift card.  Got the 'Thank you for using your synced American Express® Card ending in ##### at AMAZON.COM LLC!' sync e-mail shortly after.  Took all of 5 minutes.

Usually i get the credit in 3-4 days and im.sure if.it doesnt work i can.just chat with amex.and.theyll apply it manually since nothing in the terms excludes gift cards
 
I meant walmart.com, not sure if it's still available but there was a spend $79 get $20 back offer I think last month and it expires this month. 

 
btw, you don't need facebook or twitter to qualify for this offer.  This offer can be found under Amex login.

I got the email for using it on frozen yogurt today, surprised at their responsiveness.

The million dollar question is whether amazon gift cards will work :lol:

I just signed into my AmEx account --> Account home ---> Offers for you (tab next to latest transactions, scroll down a little bit) ---> I clicked a redeem button next to that described offer.

If that was the part you are referring to, my account was Twitter synced earlier in the week for that Best Buy deal.

I have this one in my offers - thanks for the heads up.

But crap, I also see a $30 back on $150 at Guitar Center. I just bought a $400 bass for my son for Christmas there and used my Discover for the possible 5% back, though it hasn't shown up yet (while other purchases from then did). So it might not work there (it is a nebulous "online shopping" rebate).

I'll wait in this one for more confirmation of successful Amazon gift card purchases.

I found this in my offers as well, though the tab didn't have the "new" flag on it.  This is way better than that Best Buy one.  Though now I'm trying to figure out how I can use them both and Best Buy's store pickup coupon deal this weekend.
