AMZ price match BB of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim $39.99

Of course Amazon will be ballsy and aggressive to price match the standard edition of games, but they are very ineffective with price matching the collector's edition of these recent games like Skyrim or Gears of War 3 for that matter.

Ended up ordering it ^^ I do hope most (if not all) those bugs that so many people mentioned are gone by now with all those patches that Bethesda has released.

Speaking on behalf of the ps3 version, areas that gave insane lag have been vastly improved. I have experienced some lag (nowhere near as bad as before the patch) but that's usually after playing for several hours in one sitting. Of course several quests are still glitched and you may not receive your reward for completing them or may not be able to be complete them period without redoing it. If your going to play it immediately as opposed to the backlog I would definitely get it.

I just bought the Skyrim CE at Bestbuy and will probably trade in the game immediately while TIV is high and then just repurchase when the inevitable GOTY comes out and use that credit towards it. They will probably sell the GOTY with all DLC for about $49.99 if recent GOTY MSRP are to be used as a barometer to pricing. Since I have an insane backlog, I can wait to play Skyrim and by then, probably all bugs and glitches on both systems will be patched as well.

Skyrim in the backlog!? That's madness! I said that until I started playing it. 80 hours later, I'm glad I did. Lol, I might play through it again since I'm getting a PC copy.

Yeah, way too many games and I have been procrastinating which ones to play as I have to divide between the Wii, 360, PS3, Vita and 3DS as far as playing time. Skyrim would require way too much time devoted to just that game.

How I am feeling, I did the same with Morrowind and did not regret it. Increasingly becoming patient with idea of buying games year or so after release. Middle school me would be dumb founded by 20 something me with job and girl and a life and all...

+1.

Did that w/ Morrowind and Oblivion. Plan to do w/ Skyrim.

Family and Adult Life can put Games in perspective. ;)

I'm tempted at $39.99, but if it were $10 lower, I might get it. Maybe I will wait for the GOTY edition. I bought the Fallout 3 GOTY for $20 and it's so nice to have everything on a disc.
