An American Carol - New Robert Zucker Movie

Too bad it's so heavy-handed. Michael Moore is ripe for parody. It looks like it has some funny ideas that are unfortunately beaten like a dead horse.

It doesn't seem like it would be very hard to make fun of Michael Moore, but I think they blew it. The "island paradise Cuba" bit was funny, but the rest of it looked pretty bad.

I think this was posted a few weeks back.

They didn't open it up for early screenings so I can only imagine how bad it's going to be.

There was a thread.

I said it then and I will say it now.

Conservatives are lunatics and disgusting excuses for human beings.

Here is a pseudo-interview with Zucker.

The money behind his movie, Mpower Pictures, has chosen not to screen it for critics in advance of today's opening. "We'll get killed," Mr. Zucker predicts.

It's probably pretty smart to not screen a movie like this to standard critics.

The trailer left me somewhat cold. It could be funny (I thought the tropic thunder trailer sucked, but the movie was funny). So I'll wait to hear from people that saw it. It is loaded with stars, which is surprising though.

But man I really hate when they associate Country music type shit with Conservatism. I understand why they do, but it makes me cringe, because I can't stand Country music.
