And now, an OTT not made by an ignorant man-child

It's not some shitty wording where the DVD is actually just a "digital copy"?

Because if it's a legit DVD, I'm totally buying that.

Yeah, because tricky wording is completely out of the question. Shut the fuck up.

It's hard not to randomly choose 10 Queen songs and not come up with an amazing set, but the October 20th Queen track pack for Rock Band manages to collect 10 of the very best.

We knew back in August that a 10-pack of Queen was on its way to Rock Band, but the only song we were sure of at the time was "Another One Bites the Dust." If you've ever been a fan of the band, even briefly, then you know all of these songs by heart. Check out the full list:

Another One Bites the Dust
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
One Vision
Fat Bottomed Girls
I Want It All
I Want to Break Free
Killer Queen
Somebody to Love
Tie Your Mother Down
Under Pressure

If you read that and didn't get all giddy, then this track pack probably isn't for you. The rest of you, get your giddy on.
Awesome.

As best as I can remember, all the Disney classic titles have included a DVD with the :br: release.
Awesome.
I'll definitely be in for Under Pressure, Killer Queen, Another One Bites the Dust, Somebody to Love and Crazy Little Thing Called Love.

Really? That's pretty cool, although sort of useless since people who buy the BR probably don't care about the DVD.

Wrong. People who buy the BR love the DVD because they can use the DVD in their car or on their kids dvd players, portable or otherwise.

Yea it's pretty cool, there was an article about why Disney elected to do it many months ago. Their main buying demographic has DVD players in their cars/portable DVD players and they aren't as interested in digital copy. Additionally mass produced DVDs are less than 10 cents each so it's cheap enough to do so and pacify the high end buyer.

And yea, the wording can be confusing about the DVD sets; especially with the misprint that was on the back of the steelbook cases.

I didn't know everyone who had a Blu Ray player had children.

I get what you mean. It's more Disney's general buying demo.

Yeah, I fucking hate digital copies that are on discs. I could have sworn I bought some DVDs that came with a digital copy that you would download from a website, but recently I keep seeing 3 disc editions of movies, with one being a digital copy. Seems kind of misleading to me, since the third disc isn't any extra content.

You got your PSlim3?

I haven't heard of that app, looked it up and it sounds pretty cool. I'll have to give that a shot later.

My guess, they have been hammered with the coupons and are adjusting to compensate. I know they are canceling several of the Elite orders.

Because they can and they want to make you ask questions?
Linkin, did you actually buy a PSPGo?
Yup, for $168 I couldn't pass up. It's pretty damn cool so far.

They were fantastic, Bioshocked.

Josh Homme's stage presence is kind of absolutely amazing and he had some pretty funny banter that I can't remember off the top of my head.

I'm not going to lie, even though I was a little annoyed by the number of gross old white dudes wearing awful Zeppelin shirts, I was awestruck by John Paul Jones. In my head I kept thinking "the bassist from Led Zeppelin is standing right. there." Dude's still got it, he went from playing bass to keyboard solos to even a keytar without missing a beat.

Maybe it's because they're the songs that I'm already kind of familiar with, but I liked the songs that they've been teasing that I guess I would describe as sounding like Black Dog the best, those were amazing. They did mix it up a bit, though. Homme did a song where he just took care of the vocals with no guitar on his part, I had never seen that before. Like I said earlier, some of the songs also had extended 80s-ish keyboard sections too. I was a little bummed that they didn't play an encore, but it's understandable since they don't have that much material right now. They played for around an hour and a half, maybe a little less.

I was also annoyed that their merch was just three shirts, which weren't that hot IMO considering how awesome the art direction in their teasers is. In retrospect I should have bought two of the tour shirts anyways so that I could sell one and keep the other for free.

Now that you're white, can you explain Texas Roadhouse to me, tiredfornoww?

I am super jealous that you got to see them. I hope they come back to Austin or Dallas soon.

Now that you're white, can you explain Texas Roadhouse to me, tiredfornoww?
Its really good food, but kind of pricey and ours always has a 30 minute wait. I'm still learning shit about being white so I can't explain why their floors are covered in spit and peanuts. Oh, and they don't serve lunch mon-thurs.
Did they give any hints towards when their album's dropping?
Nope, the security were really, really insistent and adamant about no video recording at the band's request, so I guess they want to keep it under wraps for now.
