Tattoos are kind of dumb unless they are a symbol or something that isn't easily recognizable. Tastes change and there are things I considered tattooing on myself when I was in college that would look so stupid today. When I was in high school the entire football team tattooed looney toons characters on their arms. Dumbasses.
I disagree; however I understand the logic. I believe that I'm not going to get better looking as I age. When I'm an old man, I'll have enough to worry about (such as liver pills, diapers, or something of a more "elderly" nature). I couldn't care less how it looks in 50 years.
That having been said, I do believe that tattoos should be something personal and meaningful. This back piece (I assume it's the back, since you don't see folds of fat like that on the ankles typically) looks
incredible. The detail is great, everything is proportional, and the coloring will be easier than most tattoos (the won't be much, if any, shading due to TWW's style). I don't know how meaningful TWW is to this person, but if they're happy, props to the man.
I did get some meaningless work done before. While I thought that people with tasmanian devil tattoos should be shot on sight, and that only tools got the Operation Ivy "jumping guy" (looks like a

ing rorshach test), I ended up with a Cobra (as in G.I. Joe) tattoo at an early age. I still like it, so no big deal. It will be the only "brand" (for want of a better phrase) tattoo I'll ever get. No regrets though. Not now, not ever.
myke.
...well, Link is better than someone's name, at least.
