The old thread hadn't been updated in quite some time, so I decided to make a new one. If you happen to see a sale not listed in the OP, go ahead and post it and I will be sure it's added. The same goes for anything listed that has expired as most sales have no set time frame, let me know and I will remove expired sales. Thanks!

They're live in the US store now

Shocked no one mentioned that Disney Anytime app is out for Android and when you link it to iTunes or google play, you get Wreck it Ralph free

Free movies everywhere, it seems. If you have a Nexus 5 or 7 and open the Play Movies & TV app, there should be an offer for Gravity for free.

I was able to do it without ever downloading the Disney Movie Anywhere app. I just linked my Google account via http://www.disneymoviesanywhere.com/ and then it was added to my movies automatically.

If you don't have the Google Play app on your streaming device, you can also try playing it via the YouTube channel. Since Google owns YouTube, you can play Google Play content via the YouTube app. I've tried it via the Xbox 360 app and Roku channel. Of course there is now a Google Play channel on Roku, so it really isn't necessary.

So does Google have good game sales for black Friday? I assume it is publisher determined but I am really hoping for Baldur's Gate at 4.99. Or maybe when they release the second one.

i'm really tempted to get Ticket to Ride since i got a $10 google play for $5 out of pocket.  does it ever go on sale?  i'd get it on amazon with my coins but it's only available for kindle tabs.

It's been bundled before I forget if it was ikoid or humble.

Edit: It looks like it was humble, I can't access my steam right now to see if it was a steam/Android bundle or just a mobile bundle. Either way, I would say there is a decent chance of it getting bundled again somewhere.

Edit 2: Looks like it was the Steam/Android bundle 7. Still probably due for another Android bundle sometime.

Humble bundled it twice: Once in a PC/Android bundle, and once in a mobile bundle, I'm pretty sure. The Android one came with the USA 1910 map, too.

All this makes me realize I really need a bigger phone.  My 8 gig Motorla Photon (with only 4 gig storage space) is constantly full just due to games/apps.

Any time an update comes out I have to spend 20 minutes finding stuff to delete (CleanCleaner is a big help)

Really looking into getting a 16 or 32 gig anything once my contract with Sprint expires. (I'd love another phone with a physical qwerty but I know that's a pipe dream)

thanks. i hope it gets re-bundle or the price drops during the holidays. Mainly re-bundle though

I actually thought about you when I picked this up, but I didn't want to have you download garbage before trying it myself. If you play it before me, share your thoughts.
OK thoughts on Braveland. Initially I was going to say decent little game if priced at 2.99 and as a cag wait for free or. 99 of funny money. Then I discovered it has no manual save and it auto saves literally as you are going into battle so if you reload you are stuck going into that same battle without the chance to make alterations or do a different battle for more gold or xp. The only alternative? Begin a brand new game. Did I mention with only an auto save function there's only one save slot per game?

A shame cause prior to a battle I can't get past despite some flaws and confusion which might be mitigated by checking the help I lost track of time playing and was having fun. A second effort with more abilities and the chance to pick your team's order along with manual saves could result in a solid pay full 2.99 for game. Well maybe 2.99 on amazon :)

As it is might be worth free but stay away at any price even funny little digital coins. It might not be at the point I got stuck but eventually You shall not pass!

In case anyone is ambitious: there's a turn-based strategy game based on Metro 2033, free for a limited time (apparently) on Google Play. The catch: it's in Russian.

There will probably be some sales, though it does seem like a while since Google had a large sale of games/apps discounted to less than $0.99. I remember a few years ago there were some $0.10 and $0.25 sales. Some game makers will probably want to put their games on sale to goose the charts a bit as people get new phones.

Amazon is offering certain customers a free 30-day trial for their Kindle e-reader and Fire tablets. Check your account. YMMV.

Limit one free trial per customer

Its for the Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite, Fire HD 7, or the Fire HDX 7".

I was excited to see, I think it was last week, when people were reporting that the entirety of functionality of the Amazon Appstore was in the Amazon app proper. It's true, but some of the games that require the Amazon Appstore to be installed (which is crap in its own rite) didn't recognize the Amazon app. Some did though.

I got the Lollipop update on my Shield Tablet today. It's okay. After it installed it constantly restarted my tablet for a while, and I had to rearrange everything from scratch (which was a huge nuisance). That seems to have stabilized. I wish they'd make moving apps/games to the SD card more useful though. The new update is over 600MB by the way.

What is cool though was that GRID is now part of the Shield HUB, and you can play about a dozen, granted slightly older, games for free. And supposedly Shield Tablet owners also get a copy of Batman: Arkham City for free.

Arkham City free? Where? Did anyone get in on the $.01 games from newegg earlier, Half Life 2, Portal and Episode 1 for Shield Tablet. It's dead now, I got it right before leaving the house earlier today.
