The old thread hadn't been updated in quite some time, so I decided to make a new one. If you happen to see a sale not listed in the OP, go ahead and post it and I will be sure it's added. The same goes for anything listed that has expired as most sales have no set time frame, let me know and I will remove expired sales. Thanks!

too bad kingdom is 4 bucks would of gave 2 for it
Just buy it from GooglePlay for 99cents, then...

I bought the basic bundle for $1, but I'm hoping they add smaller-sized games to it later, the last bundles had mostly games that are 20-50mb each (SnuggleTruck, Vector, Gunslugs, McPixel, etc)

A couple new sales on Google Play:

Gary Chalk's Gun Dogs - $5.99 $1.99
Little Stars for Little Wars 2 - $1.99 $0.99
Combat Mission : Touch - $3.99 $0.99

Amazon's free app of the day is Monkey Boxing (normally $2.99).

Also, a new iKoid bundle is up:

Ikoid Bundle #9 "Endless Nightmare" - $2.99

  • The Walking Dead: Assault
  • Forever Lost: Episode 1
  • Dungeon Nightmares
  • V for Vampire
  • The Spookening
Monkey Boxing!

I also have played that Walking Dead game and it is pretty good. I think I paid $1.49 for it on sale so that bundle seems like a good deal.

Well if they patched it to do that, you should definitely be wary.
I typo'd, let me clarify..

http://appadvice.com/appnn/2014/01/cut-the-rope-2-updated-in-response-to-player-feedback-on-in-app-purchases

Cut the Rope 2 costs $0.99 to download, but it still offers in-app purchases for some items. These items include balloons, which can be used in obtaining clovers, which in turn, can be used to access secret levels.

Well, as it turns out, ZeptoLab has heard players’ complaints regarding this “loud and clear.” And so, the developer has just updated Cut the Rope 2 so that it’s now possible to unlock secret levels by collecting medals in addition to clovers.

Damn it, stick a survival horror game in the bundle and I buy it...

This looks pretty good off the free list. Nice little strategy RPG kind of thing.

EDIT: Watch out for some incorrectly listed apps... I grabbed one called "3D Arena" which said it was free, and it was free, and the one I tried to grab right after it "Demon King" said it was free, and then was actually 99 cents when you get to its page. Then on the next page of apps, both 3D Arena and Demon King are listed for 99 cents... yet 3D Arena is still free.

Yeah, it seems like some of the apps are temporarily free. You never know when they'll change the price. I've never tried that Demon King game before, but I've seen it offered for free a few times in the past. So it'll probably be free again at sometime.

That Call of Victory game is also free on Google Play. I'm not sure if there is any difference though since I haven't tried it yet. Looks like it might be a fun.

Yeah, you have to be careful with some of the Amazon apps. After looking for apps that give coins back, I came across one that looked fairly interesting. Only 99 cents on Amazon gives 30 coins back. No reviews on Amazon, so went to look at google play....where it was free.

Steam Defense

99 Cents on Amazon with 30 coins back

Or

Free on Google play!

Sometimes the Google Play versions are just trials or ad based versions and you have to unlock the full version via in-app purchase. I've noticed that a few times with other apps that cost money on Amazon, but are free on Google Play. I'm not sure if that is the case for this one though.

Perfect example is Blocky Roads. It's free on Google Play, but it only have three levels unlocked. To unlock the other levels it costs $1.99. On Amazon the full version is $1.99.

But... think of the COINS!
Bad part is, I am. I have a $5 app credit that expires at the end of April. Since the Chaos rings games are kindle fire versions only; I need to find a way to magically get 800 more coins for final fantasy 4.

Drives me crazy that all this free credit/coins from Amazon & only a fraction of the crap Id want from Google play is on there. Then of course to sound like a broken record, the free app of the day.

Speaking of free apps, has Appgratis had anything good for a while? Got an e-mail the other day & their free app of the day was the Amazon app. After that & seeing most of their apps, I think Im done with them.

I only had AppGratis on my phone for a month or so last fall, and they never seemed to have anything good. In most cases it was in game currency to free-to-play games, but not necessarily good ones.

Can someone explain AppGratis to me? I'll open it up and it'll have its daily deal, but when I check the next day the expired deal is something completely different. Friday the daily app I was shown was the fusion music app, but the expired deal listed is Instatube. I'm seeing uplike as today's app, but when I check tomorrow I'm sure the expired deal listed will be something completely different.

Zombie Hunter: Into Darkness - $0.99 FREE

Hmmm...not sure. You can see the next day's free apps by just selecting Australia in the drop down menu at http://www.appgratis.com

Yeah, I sort of gave up on the appgratis and app of the day apps. Most of the apps are not that great and I hate having to install the apps on that day or enter some code to unlock it. It's annoying that Google doesn't just allow developers to offer their apps for free temporarily so we don't have to enter promo codes in the trial versions of the apps. Then if you uninstall the apps and decide to install them again at a later time they are converted back to non-premium additions unless you do back-ups.

Uh, i don't suppose any of you are 100+ level characters with 2100+ damage armor in Knights and Dragons are you? Really need at least a couple more "friends" in order to beat the epic boss one last time in order to craft his armor.

Hey guys, I know a while back I moved the discussion on Marvel Puzzle Quest to a dedicated thread but I wanted to chime in one more time on the subject.

We are having an extensive discussion on the new Alliances and are trying to form a CAG group with at least remotely dedicated players. To make a competitive Alliance we need to reach the 20 member max, which in turn costs money up front but the rewards soon recoup that plus much more for having a high level alliance. Of course the more people we get interested the cheaper it can be for everyone.

Stop by if this sounds like something that may interest you and give us your input or desire to be pay into the Alliance! : )

The Amazon free App is Tangled.

Which, unfortunately is not related to the Disney movie.

In non deal related news, I also wonder if anyone has a guild or clan in Clash of Clans or Knight & Dragons. (I'm really enjoying playing both of those right now, but it definitely seems you need support to level up)

I started getting mad at my kids for this reason. Saw the e-mail about Tangled and Kindle apps & thought why the hell are my kids buying movies on the Kindle when they should be in school. I mean we already have the DVD/Bluray combo.

Then it hit me....Whoops forgot I just bought the app of the day....which was also named Tangled.

Now that I finally have $10 worth of credit from google rewards how come there's no Final Fantasy games on sale? This always happens, I swear its like having a stockpile of MS points...err I mean whatever it is now. Speaking of that I may as well get castlestorm on Xbox, the android app was pretty fun.

I wish Amazon had a better way of checking the deals than just searching in the deals section. Not a complete list of whats on sale, just things that actually look good or interesting.

Steam Defense $0.99 Free (100% off)

Infinite Warrior   $2.99 $0.99 (67% off)

Tetris                 $2.99 $0.99 (67% off)

NBA Jam (KE)   $4.99 $0.99 (80% off)

Id have got NBA Jam with coins/credit, but once again its the Kindle edition only. Steam Defense is free on Google play. Unfortunately now that they also made it free on Amazon they took the coins off of the purchase of it.

This always give me a laugh too.  Sorting app deals by price from high to low on Amazon.  Have you been saving up your coins for it?

unified remote better than yatse? Looks pretty basic and yatse is already free and includes file browsing and all sorts of nifty plugins to do notifications popups on xbmc

Unified Remote is great and highly recommended, but the honor of best XBMC remote goes to Yatse. It's not even a contest.
That is not the Yatse that I used before so I will try it out again they have redesigned so it looks more polished but if you want an all around remote for other programs and xbmc check out Unified.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone ever used Helium to back up and restore game data between devices? I have a non-rooted device and this seems like the best option.
