The Gutter Twins - Saturnalia - Brilliant stuff

Spoon - Soft Effects EP - This band certainly has evolved since its early stuff. As much as I like what they are doing now, I might like their first albums better. Liquid and WooHoo, check this EP out, has a really nice quasi-shoegazer quality to a few of the tracks.

Spoon - Telephono

Thee More Shallows - More Deep Cuts - Reminds me of Sparklehorse, which is a good thing, of course.

Belleruche - Turntable Soul Music (album)
Muph & Plutonic - ...And Then Tomorrow Came (album)
Hermitude - Tales Of The Drift (album)
Miwagemini - This Is How I Found You (album)

I will definitely grab that Spoon EP. Love those guys and can't wait for Daniels' solo album.

Also Thee More Shallows are quite enjoyable.
Ah, modern composers!
You should visit the place the piece is named after in Houston.

Whoa, that place sounds great. Next time I'm in Houston, I'll definitely swing by. Thanks for the heads up! :)

Carla Kihlstedt - Flinch
HEALTH's self-titled.

I can't wait to see them tonight. :D
They put on one of the best performances I've seen. Try to get close to the stage if you can, so you can witness the chaos up-close :)

De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising
The Ting Tings - We Started Nothing
Talib Kweli - Quality , The Beautiful Struggle

T.I. - King - Can't hate if I don't actually listen to it.

1980 - 1980 (album)

Great jazz-fusion in the vein of Cynic and Meshuggah, I made a post about them over at my blog.

Songs:

Major Lance - You Don't Want Me No More
Johnny Watson - Too Late
Jason Knight - Our Love Is Getting Stronger
Shirley Ellis - Soul Time

Album:

Richard Hell - Blank Generation (an all time fave)
Nice choice.

Wake Up On Fire - Green Mouth
I haven't listened to much in the way of international metal/grindcore, but if there's more that sounds as good as them, I'm up for it.

Godflesh - Slavestate (album)
Did you ever check out Flinch, rabbitt?

Junior Senior - D-D-Don't Stop the Beat (album)
In my next batch of bookmarks on what.cd

I need s'more Boredoms, too.

Let me know what you think of it. :)

And yeah, I need more Boredoms as well. A friend of mine and I were talking about what a Rockband: Boredoms game would look like, and we concluded it'd have 3 drummers and one instrument that was just a bunch of RB guitars bolted together, with each button making some utterly bizarre noise in order to try and simulate Yamataka Eye's insanity/genius.

lol. I don't even know if it's possible to emulate one of their songs. It'd either be 20 minutes long or 53 seconds, for starters. I think it's best left to them, but I'll play it if someone ever happens...

Yeah, that's true...the discussion came about due to disgust with GH: Aerosmith's track list. We couldn't play it for more than a few songs before we had to stop.
More feasible bands we wanted that we thought would be lots of fun to play were Hella, among a lot more math rock.
