Afta-1 - Aftathoughts Volume 1 (album) -------- Honey Dip is such a bad ass song
Grooveman Spot Presents Raw Humberger (mix) ---- outside of a slow first 15 minutes, its a great baby making mix
Kid Sundance - Crazy Lady (single) ---- I had a feeling this track was going to be good since its Jazzy Sport (its from one of their imprints) but I didn't expect it to be this good. Great singer (Urita) who is now on my watch list and the beat is fucking sick. Going to be an awesome song to throw on during the Halloween parties.
Harvey K-Tel - Boops Apocalypse / You Make Me Feel So Good (single) ---- some of the best songs of the year

Ra Ra Riot - The Rhumb Line

The Trashcan Sinatras - Cake - "Obscurity Knocks" is in my top pop songs of all time.

Matthew Sweet - Sunshine Lies - Don't know if I would call it a return to form, but it's a really good album from someone I stopped expecting really good albums from.

Little Aida - Confessions (album)

one of the few things I was missing in my DJ Vadim discography (he produced it). Its really fucking good. Mostly instrumentals with a few songs with Beth Gibbons style vocals from when trip-hop had more hip hop leanings than what the "genre" became since then.

Mr Cooper - What Else There Is (album)
new album from one more under-rated hip hop DJs out there.

Dday One - Heavy Migration (album)

DJ Okawari - Diorama (album)

No, I've never listened to them, though I've only ever heard praise.

King Syze - Labor Union - Surprisingly decent. Sounds a bit like a Fat Joe rip-off at times, which is funny since he was a Big Pun rip-off, but King Syze ain't awful.
Portugal. The Man - Censored Colors

The Gun Club - Fire of Love - Essential. Perfect combination of the dirtiest, darkest elements of punk and the blues. woohoo, I would suggest you at least check this out.

Damn, FB, I cannot wait for that album. But I refuse to hear it before I own it!

And I'll be sure to check that album out, strummer, thanks for the rec.
