The Sinking Belle (Blue Sheep) is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
Have you heard the White Sheep or Black Sheep versions of the song? I'd go as far as to say they're better.

Also, Jesse Sykes(sp?) solo album (the vocalist for the song) is pretty damn good too.

No, I haven't heard them. They're on different editions, right?

I'll be sure to check out that solo work, though. Those vocals are so haunting.

Yea, they're exclusive to the American and Japanese releases (vinyl editions I think). They're easy to find online though, and worth hearing.

In an insane coincidence, I was going to post the same thing and make a similar comment about just that song.

Rachel's - 1999 - Selenography
Hah, good stuff. I guess it's just that good.
The song speaks for itself; the timing is what threw me off.

awesome group....not that great of a song though
its true though. Hell, their whole new album isn't that great (more clunkers than usual from them on it)
I've never heard anything else from them so that's probably why I enjoyed it.

You like Leave It All Behind?

And I'm listening to:
Johnny Foreigner - Waited Up 'Til It Was Light - Holy shit, this is kinda good.

As for Jazzanove albums that I dig, I think In Between is their best album with Broad Casting and the Belle Et Fou OST being close behind it. They've got quite a bit of remixes out as well (the Metti Una Sera A Cena remix is probably my favorite). And I don't know but if you dig Blue Note, the Lookin' Back/Moving On comp they did for the label is really fucking good.

Yeah, like the new Foreign Legion (thinks its better than their other album). It reminds me that I still need to pick up Yahzarah's album though

Thanks, man, I'll look into those.

Little Brother - The Commercial Free EP - Really hope they're at the show I'm going to this Friday.
Talib Kweli - Ear Drum
Heltah Skeltah - D.I.R.T. - After a few listens, it's kind of disappointing.
The Bridges - Limits of the Sky
Eagles of Death Metal - Death by Sexy - Can't wait to see Boots Electric twice on the same day.

its been on repeat all day. Its a nice rebound after a lackluster solo album from Auldist and I think its better Step It Up but its just a notch below Rawville. Amazing album though

My friends back home recently put out their first full-length album (So Long, Soggy Dog), and it's available on Amazon (anyone with extra Pepsi Points, feel free to DL a song). Extremely DIY guys, sounds like Against Me! and Latterman, maybe a little Hot Water Music. If you're feeling generous, check them out and maybe download a song or two.
