As soon as the second Kira was introduced, the quality of the show started to drop. I thought it was lame that another person had the same power as Light, and it just felt like a way to extend the show even further. The next drop in quality is when one of the Yotsuba group members gets a death note; it felt incredibly stupid that yet another person got a hold of a death note. It felt like the focus of the show was shifting away from its good aspects, such as Light and L. After that, L dies, and Near and Mello are introduced, which was incredibly stupid. Neither character has any depth; they are just extensions of L, and I don't want to watch Light fight L all over again. He already beat L, and the show should of ended with L's death. Then, at the end of the show, Light loses, which absolutely infuriates me. Don't misunderstand me, I don't like Light; Light is a horrible person, and I'm not getting defensive because Near won. Light should of won because he did everything right; there was no room for Near to win. The writers had to make up ways for Near to win, and the way he wins is absolute bullshit. Creating an immaculate copy of someone's death note in one night, and it was by someone that's not a handwriting specialist? Mikami keeps his death note in a bank? He's not that moronic; it's completely out of character. Why didn't he keep it at home in a safe hiding place? Furthermore, he already knows he's being watched. Also, when Light loses he becomes completely pathetic, and it was not pleasant to watch. However, the show wasn't done frustrating me. At the very end of the show, Misa committed suicide, and that was the ultimate
you for me. Misa was always being shafted, and then Light gets himself killed, and since Misa is a very weak person, she committed suicide. Misa deserved better.
