Amazon tends to offer lower everyday prices on their anime, and often run sales on Funimation items routinely. Keep track on your favorites or check your daily deal's for a possible 5% off of some based off your history on Amazon.

(Also, I'd also recommend to check out Amazon's top 100 deals in Anime Bluray/DVD as they tend to show what's popular, or what is on sale.)

Known by many for their bad customer service, they often make up for it with their lower prices on a lot of their items. This and they routinely run sales specifically for anime.

As a fan of pretty much all the shonen series that become huge Jump titles, I didn't find Medaka interesting at all. Watch an episode online and see if you like it. I definitely wouldn't bother rewatching it down the line. Btoom, on the other hand, is pretty good. Waiting on a second season which probably will never come.

Rightstuf doesn't disappoint me with these holiday sales. I always try to look for titles under $20 to check out and sure enough I have a bunch of tabs open to narrow down titles that might interest me.

Akiballion is shit. It's a high school production that somehow got officially licensed.

Bamboo Blade is quite enjoyable, but another one of those anime that has an open ending.

Also considering Hidemari Sketch but I haven't seen that either.

11 Eyes is weird. It's ok at that price I guess. Shangri-La is also ok. Not my fav. Bamboo Blade is great and Robotics;Notes is above avg. I bought that myself in the sale.

Thanks to this Funi sale I finally got their exclusive for Space Dandy season 2. Been waiting for a good price on that for a while. Had a bunch of other stuff, but with RightStuf's sale just starting up, I don't want to over do it just yet.

Fantastic. If you haven't' seen Humanity Has Declined thats a good option too. Really unique and kind of batshit.

I'll keep that in mind. I ended up sucking it up and paying the $9 shipping on Nozaki. Once the rest of the Sentai sale is up and I'm sure of everything I want I'll just make another order.

hmm not horrible today.. the one piece sets are decent... now to decide if I want to pick them up at some point or wait a bit and hope for a new amazon collection as they come in decent boxes.

instead of like 55% off it would have been more like 65% off.

Really wish the Sentai sale added Sabagebu. They added Yuyushiki which I want, but Sabagebu as well would have been perfect.

Yeah, I've been patiently waiting for the 4th set. I got the first 3 when there were on sale, excellent production and much cheaper =)

So when does this sale end? I kind of don't want to miss out on what I've seen go on sale. Have a solid amount of stuff in my basket now.

I'm wondering the same. I'd really like to wait until Friday to order, but if the sale will end before then I'd just order now.

It is true that it is completely 3D animated. Although I do think it a bit unfair to describe RWBY's animation as bad. I can definitely understand people having issue with the 3D-rendered art style, but the animation itself is quite good in RWBY's. This is the work of Monty Oum, after all. (RIP, Monty, you are missed)

But yes, I get that some people strongly object to the use of 3D animation to simulate the "anime" style. When used improperly, it can look terrible. Personally, I feel that Knights of Sidonia is actually one of the best examples of this approach that I've ever seen. But if it is a pet peeve of yours, perhaps you should give this one a pass. I will say that the general art style and direction of Knights of Sidonia is exceptional, with some very solid world-building through the use of its visuals. It is a science fiction story worth seeing.

Knights of Sidonia is good the first season,then becomes bad the second season when it decides to focus on the stupid harem antics. The characters also aren't that interesting,with the the main character lacking any sort of personality.

Well, it IS an independent production. Rooster Teeth may be extremely big for a YouTube channel, but they still don't have the unlimited funding a big time studio has.

Rightstuf had a holiday deal for the Slayers season 1-3 set back in 2014 for $23.99. I purchased it then. Don't think it was on sale last year during Rightstuf's Holiday Sale. Rightstuf or Funimation may have holiday sale discount for that set this year.
