Heeeeeey... waaaaitaminute.... my birthday is on tuesday too! Um... neat!
Heeeeeeey... waaaaitaminute.... i live in WA too! Auburn huh? I went to a gamecrazy near there once on my way to Tacoma. Then the dude there told me to try the gamecrazy in Auburn, exiting after I pass the Indian Reservation sign. But I couldn't find it! He said they had a good stock of nes games. Oh well. I felt you should know that.

Interesting factoids on Januray 3rd-

-The football running record for touchdown from scrimmage (?) was set on January 3rd, 1983. 99 yards.

-January 3rd was the first day Female actors, or actresses, were allowed onstage in London.

-It rained red worms somewhere (I don't have the book handy to check where.)

As for the Auburn Gamecrazy, you just head down highway 18th and get off on the Auburn Way North exit. Go down Auburn way North, past the Fred Meyer, almost to Kent- It's tucked in a corner by the Albertson's right before you hit all the auto dealerships. (If you pass a Buddhist temple you've gone too far.)

:bouncy:

I also would like to add that you an also get $10 back from Geneon if you buy two of thier DVD's. I know a lot of the list are Geneon releases. If planned properly, you can get two dvd's with free shipping for $30-$10 for $20. or something like that.

They have this online too? You get an instant rebate if you buy at Bestbuy.

Now, the form wants my 'original cash register' reciept. Which I don't have since I bought from online, I have an invoice.

does that work? I should have a copy of Moldiver coming, and I bought Gankutsou a while ago, I bet I can do something there.

Isn't there a customer service # you can call to confirm?

Thanks OP Been meaning to catch Gankustuou and see what all the hubub is about it and picked up an Appleseed LCE with tin. Might go back for ROD, but the show just sounds way weird from the descriptiong. Not sure if it is something I'd like or not.

Interesting. I remember the endless dealerships, I turned around shortly after that... defeated. "in a corner by the Albertson's" probably would have helped me. He did say it was just past the Fred Meyer, but I couldn't spot it off of the road. Oh well.

Hey guess who shares a birthday with Mel Gibson.

Dammit...here I was trying to save my money, and I ended up blowing off $106 tonight! >_< The Evangelion Platinum Collection was a must for me, and for the price of $48, I couldn't pass that one up. I also got the Appleseed LE, Ghost in the Shell SE, and Perfect Blue DVD's. Picking up some of my favorite classics...thanks OP. =)

Make sure you're aware that you are getting the thin dvd box (7mm) set, and not the normal sized set. I'm not sure what difference this makes though... since I have the original box set which is fine for me.

Of evangelion platinum collection, that is.

Just wondering, would this work on box sets from Geneon as well?

Yes.

I also ordered six or seven DVD's My second roder. My first order arrived in a week. But I also ordered Tekken 5 from TRU at tghe same time I placed my second Geneon Anime order. Because of that I have a March date for shipment. Those are usually bogus so I expected to get the DVD's at least ina week and for them to ship Tekken whenever.

Well, it's been a week or two and my Anime DVD's still have not shipped. I guess I'm going to have to wait until March. :(
