While it is completely wrong that she has had her email account hacked, the kid in me is laughing its ass off.
http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2008/09/group-posts-e-m.html

Palin's chief of staff, Michael Nizich, sent her an e-mail August 22 with the subject line, "Using Royalty Oil to Lower the Cost of Fuel for Alaskans." The subject line of another e-mail from Nizich reads "CONFIDENTIAL Ethics Matter."

doesn't email regarding work belong in a .gov email address?

Maybe the FBI will do something about all the child porn on 4cha..I mean "anonymous" now hopefully.
That wikileaks site won't load heh
That's the kind of combination and idiot would have on their luggage.
Public email address = requestable through a simple FOIA request. Not even a subpoena.

You could get my email that way, too, since I'm employed at a public university.

Not that it's exciting.

But, back to Palin, yahoo! = not seizable without a subpoena.

So all the good, dirty stuff is on the yahoo account, I'm sure.

Shamefully, acquired in an illegal manner, won't make much of the mainstream press.

It's the headline on Drudge, in ALL CAPS and in red, under the headline, "Dirty Tricks!" giving the suggestion this was a Obama/Dem plot, which it isn't it's a hentai-plot. It;ll be all over the morning talk shows.

I saw the FBI has been snooping around, I think the pool's about to be closed on 4c, at least for the time being. But then again, the FBI has a pretty terrible track record with anything cyber-related.

Wow, what a stupid thing the hacker will be going to go to jail for, especially when nothing of significant interest was found.

In fact, this will probably increase sympathy for Palin amongst women and also give more weight to the claim that Palin's family is being grossly attacked, as it looks like someone is exploiting her family by posting private family photos and whatnot. She will get more votes that way, not less!

So uh ... the VP nominee for the party that's behind lying to the public about illegal wiretapping and all sorts of other Fifth Amendment violations had her ... uh ... Fifth Amendment right to privacy violated by having her e-mail read illegally? Pardon me; the odour of irony is overpowering any possible whiff of sympathy I might catch.

Probably so.

Nothing came up from what I read... could it be that the Republicans built this stunt to show that she has nothing to hide (incriminating)..... yeah for conspiracy theory's.

Woah.

...

This suddenly got way more interesting.

Well that was the headline last night.

Now it's "OBAMA TELLS SUPPORTERS: 'ARGUE AND GET IN THEIR FACE'"

When I read it, my first thought was "I guess Obama hasn't seen the Politics forum on CAG" ;)

The multiple yahoo accts isn't all that shady, really. Private accounts keep things cleaner. Their existence in no way implies nefarious conduct. What Americans need to be very, very concerned about is her refusal to cooperate in the ethics investigation... claiming executive privilege to get out of an ethics investigation... her staff treating subpoenas like junk mail... this all coming from the hypocrite who claims lack of government oversight is what's ruining America.

Her claim: Politicians, especially in the legislative branch, are corrupt. Lax accountability standards allows them to get away with it. As a Washington outsider she's going to come in and strengthen legislative oversight (read: shift checks & balances even further in favor of the executive branch)...

The truth: Politicians, especially in the executive branch, are corrupt. Abuse of executive privilege allows them to escape accountability. As a corrupt governor, she already has lots of experience abusing executive privilege. She's going to do many things that are unconstitutional, such as continue the Bush growth of the executive branch, and just like his administration, get away with it by abusing executive privilege...

It's lose/lose with her.
Actually, I was referring more to the last couple words there. Does that have some meaning of which I am not aware?
Anonymous's website is packed to the rim with hentai. That's the only meaning. But Palin being a secret hentai fan would, of course, be hilarious.

It really wouldn't be the FBI getting involved, it would be more of the Secret Service.

While I think it's funny, I think it would be MORE funny if the dumbass kid who did this gets busted. Not because of politics, but just because I have this stereotyped image of the person involved.
