Another CAG League 2 (Fantasy Football)

I am good wtih 11pm EST. Pitfallharry is the only person not currently logged into CAG, so you may need to find another way to get him to the draft room.

If we want to do a end of year prize what would be a good amount to contribute. Also should we have first and second place? If most folks aren't comfortable with it I don't want to do it but it seemed mostly positive from the few responses. Thoughts?

If the pot is big enough, we can do 1st and 2nd. I like playing for money, so I'm willing to go whatever amount. My guess is most would prefer a $5-$10 contribution, though.
 
If we did $10 we could do a $75/$25 or something like that. I'd be willing to do $20 but I'm sure everyone isn't on the same page there. Are we going to do a straight up paypal or is this going towards an Amazon GC? Either is fine with me
 
I'm willing to do 5 but it really needs to be unanimous. I don't want to pressure anybody on this front. I'm willing to play with or without a prize. I'll post something on the league home page soon concerning this.

I feel the same way except for the prize for 2nd place. I say winner take all but whatever you guys decide is fine.
 
Well lets get something official going. Post on the league Website $5 dollars or $10 or nothing. Also I am open to however it wants to be divided up between 1st and second. An idea I had is to give the head to head winner the top prize the second place winner a prize and the points leader a prize. So this way it keeps all owners engaged because they are in the running for something. Also do we want to go the gift card route say Amazon? And last who should hold the prize?I can do it being the league manager but is there someone that maybe has been here longer maybe with a good trade history or something. I mean I'm pretty sure no one is willing to ruin their reputation on CAG over $45 to $90 but I want everyone to be comfortable. Again I have no problem holding and passing out the cash/Giftcard just want everyone to feel comfortable.

So say we do $10

Championship game winner - $60
Championship game runner up - $20
Points winner - $20

It looks like $5 bucks a pop (I base this judgement on the vote for $5. This represents a number all are comfortable with) .Do you guys like my breakdown as in my earlier post or do you want winner gets $45 and runner up gets their money back?

That sounds good to me. Are we looking just a paypal payment or are we pitching in for an Amazon GC. Either one is fine with me.

As long as it's from a paypal balance or bank account and marked as a personal transaction instead of a purchase, there are no fees.

Anyone heard of fanduel's one day fantasy? basically you pick your lineup on a per day basics and complete against another member. You only get a set amount to spend on players w/ top players costing more. Looks like a pretty neat concept if you don't want to get stuck with the same players throughout the season.
