What would Bhutto's death gain the US? She would certainly have been more accommodating than the current administration. Knowing beforehand that she would die would probably lead to the conclusion that her husband would take over, and he's a giant weasel that's no good for anyone but himself.

Does the current administration say during interviews that Osama is dead?

With the boogeyman dead, the Taliban/Afghanistan/Pakistan conflict starts looking more like a regional problem we have no business involving ourselves in.
