Another Minor Dent in the Bubble Protecting This Administration From Reality

He should have been fired years ago. Bush's policy that his administration doesn't make mistakes is unbelievably ridiculous.
If only the liberal media would do that!

But he is part of the liberal media. He's just happens to be smarter than 99.9% of the flunkies that have newspaper columns and television shows. You don't think the questioner was just Joe Guy off the street, do you?
He was ex-CIA. Looking forward to your non-followup. ;)
Do you only emerge from your kool-aid-drenched coccoon to get say stupid shit and get schooled, bmulligan? What happened to thinking things through before typing?

A few former CIA agents have said this, and I agree. This wasn't an intelligence failure, this was a policy failure. Some intelligence said one thing, other intelligence said another, that is the nature of the business. You can pick and choose intelligence to support any argument you'd like to make, thats what they did. They treated the argument for war in Iraq exactly like a political campaign, emphasizing the facts you like, playing down the ones you don't, alluding to things you can't prove or that you know are false.

Rumsfeld either criminally lied to America or is completely, 100% incompetent. Perhaps both.

He dared to question the policies of the Bush administration, so he is, by definition, liberal. He also appeared on TV, and is therefore part of the media. QED.

Media whore Ray McGovern does the talk show circuit whenever the opportunity arises. He's a virtual oil well of headlines just like the retired general list of Rumsfeld haters.

I'm not saying some of his views haven't merit, or that he doesn't have an insider's point of view from experience, he does. I'm just saying that he's not joe audience member.
Hence why Porter Goss was placed in the CIA to expel democrats.
Funny that I mentioned this yesterday. Now that he resigned and all.

I'm guessing Goss resigned today because he's about to be named in hooker-gate, at least that's the scuttlebutt I've been hearing for the last week - ten days.

Wouldn't suprise me. The republicans are just handing the 2006 elections straight to the democrats.

That audio track was horrid. I don't know what was cracking more; the recording or the sound of Rumsfeld cracking under pressure :D
