Another shipment of Phoenix Wright coming soon? Maybe.

Man, I hope so. After hearing all the comparisons to classic PC point & click adventure games, I am SO wanting this.

(btw, awesome avatar, RF.)

I'm almost done with the game and I can't say enough about it. It's one of the best games I've played this year. I don't know about you, but as a fan of mystery novels, this game certainly appeals to me. The similarity to old school gameplay (PC point and click adventures) only adds to the novelty. A must own for all DS owners.

Yeah, I played this almost non-stop this weekend, including about 6-8 hours yesterday. And yesterday was all Chapter 5, still plugging away on that one. It's such a fun game, the only time its even remotely tiresome is when I'm stuck and have to keep wandering from location to location to find out what I missed.

I don't know how anyone said this game was short (at least I thought that was the complaint). There's not much replay unless you wait a year and forget stuff, but 20+ hours is great for a non-RPG. And so much fun!

Yeah, i played on Chapter 5 for like 4 hours yesterday and barely got through one of the witnesses. This is shaping up to be one of my personal top 10 games and one of the few games I will actually finish.

It was pretty long. I got so addicted I was pulling allnighters on some cases just to see the ending.

from the marketplace on amazon you can still get it for $30 + shipping. Might be worth checking out for some of you.

That seller pulled his listing last night. Must have re-added it. I don't know, seems a trifle too iffy for me.
I'm definitely hoping for a new shipment, can't find one anywhere.
read about 4 post up. You can get them at amazon market place for $30+ shipping.
Why is the box art they show on Lik-Sang different from both the JPN and USA versions?
This was another thing I was wondering about. Is it possible that the new shipment has new cover art?

I think Capcom would've put more copies of this out a lot faster... seeing as how this is probably their only game that sold well since RE4 on the GC.

Wow that's terrible.

This game didn't sell well at all, actually.

the game sold a little over 9,000 the first month. For the month of nov and dec it sold about half of what trauma center sold.

Judging from the fact that I've only seen it available at boutiques, that number shouldn't surprise consumers, distributors, or publishers.

True. I've only seen copies of it at EB/Gamestop and GameRush. The publisher has to know there's some demand for it and should be responding with more copies for sale. The response has been overwhelmingly positive.

To add on to 62T's comment I'm glad to see a game like Trauma Center selling well (it made it to #5 on the Feb Nintendo Power DS Top 10 list!), but Phoenix Wright is a far superior and far more enjoyable game and really deserves some recognition.

still see this for sale new at more then half of the gamestops I frequent. Picked up a mint used copy 2 days ago for $19.16. . .

I got December the week after I got January. Even though I swear I got the December issue before, just can't find it now.

What one earth? Saw this thread and checked on eBay. How many of these did they make? I guess I'm glad I got my copy within days of its release...

Crapola, I had this on pre-order months ago, but chickened out and got Trauma Center instead. Now that it's out of print, I'm starting to regret it. Oh well, maybe I can find it used somewheres...
My Wal-Marts each have 5-6 copies new of this, and Trauma Center.
The sad thing is, I've never seen it in my Wal-Mart, and I have a Wal-Mart giftcard. Maybe it'll come in stock on its website again.

i want to sell mine, should i ebay it now prices are at about $50
or wait? if theres no reprint im waiting ya know.

Wow amazing...some of these companies really stop productions on some of their games REALLY early these days...jeez...I doubt I'll pick this up since I like my games to have replay value, but still.

Phoenix Wright hasn't been released yet in Europe or Australia. It will be released in Europe on March 31th and in Australia Feb. 28. So far, the coverart looks pretty much like the US version and all DSes are region free. So there will probably be little difference between the Euro and US version. Hopefully, this will cause more copies of PW to circulate, creating an influx of New and sealed Phoenix Wright DS on the ebay market. Therefore, making a used copy of the game hit under the $30 mark.

You can pre-order it now on various European game sites (i.e. UK's Game Play) it will cost $47.50 when converted in to US dollars.

Thanks for the info!!

according to Eb and Gs they arent going to be getting any new ones in. What they have and thats it, no more new ones comming in. I stashed a few of these a few months back. Think it may be time to break em out for ebay.

I hope for the people who haven't played it yet that there is a reprint. Along with Animal Crossing, it's one of my favorite DS games.

I dont even know how the European version of this game would work. I know it was tweaked slightly from the Japanese to U.S. because our Legal system works differently than Japan's.

Now Europe collectively has many different legal systems.

The US version didn't exactly reflect the US legal system.

Yea, i dont think this game is lawyer certified, so you're not going to be able to get a law scholarship by putting "Beat Phoenix Wright" on your resume.
