Anubis II (Wii) $9.99 at BestBuy.com

I was trying to find any reviews on it from anywhere else to get a second opinion -- all around, looks awful. That's too bad.

There are no reviews because this game wont be released until the start of next month.

There are reviews, but mostly on Euro sites since this started out as a PS2 game that was ported to the Wii at the last minute in Europe. The game has been out for at least a month now, but I have only seen it at independent game shops. It's $20 at the places I have seen it, so this is a little tempting I suppose.
 
You know, $10 is such a magical price to me...but I have a really, really, really hard justifying buying this game for any price. It looks absolutely terrible...and it's even worse now since it's nothing more than a straight PS2 port.

Avoid and spend your money on a better budget game, that's my advice. Oh, but thanks OP for posting it anyway, it's the thought that counts :D

Edit: oh dear god, this is made by Metro3d? And to think Armada was actually decent...they sure have fallen since then...

Wait, what? I thought Metro3D went out of business.
I did love Armada... fun little game.
 
This game is fucking terrible. IGN gave it a 2. The review I wrote, for the site AceGamez, will be up any day now and I gave it a 1. No sane person should ever own this, or any other title designed by Data Design. The worst game I have ever, EVER played was the just released Wii title (also by Data Design) Billy the Wizard. I say its the only game worse than Superman 64. Yes, its that bad.

Also, there is no Anubis I. It is supposed to read 'Anubis the Second' but I figure the publishers are betting on people thinking, "there wouldn't be a sequel if the first one wasn't decent."

I was looking around for info on this title when I came across that blurb above. Shockingly, Anubis II is one of the better looking ones...

As for Armada, yeah, that was a game I really enjoyed on the Dreamcast. A shame they won't port over the unpublished Armada 2 (sold the rights to it away).
 
Seems like a 50/50 game, depending on which age category likes it, but I get the feeling this game would be fun for the 5-10 yr old, while the teens and adults would probably hate it, which is probably one of the reasons it scored bad, but nonetheless, I'd buy it, you never know if this game could end up being a cult classic down the road., cuz not many people gave it a chance in the 1st place.
 
Would this be worth picking up to use for the next trade 2 get 1 free at gamestop, or do they usually excude these type of games?
 
I rented this game and it was horrendous. I think this game is worth about 25 cents, since it's only good for reusing the white case for my Wii Sports. Also, Ninja Breadman is an identical game, same control, maps, control, etc. except the mobs and the background have different themes.
 
COME ON GUYZ

This game may be pretty bad but if we don't buy it, the publisher won't have enough money to release Action Girlz Racing or Action Girlz Racing II. Stop being a bunch of assholes and buy this amazing game.
