2 of my recent auctions on ebay were paid via money order which is the first time in forever that has happened. Well, my old address was stored as the primary payment address. It has been about 8 months since I moved. Luckily the lady that lives at my old addy is super nice and has agreed pass on to me the money orders might get delivered there, so that is not going to be an issue. My question is WHERE will the mail end up and is there a way to direct the post office on where to deliver 2 pieces of mail?

The USPS FAQ states that 1st class will be forwarded for 12 months, but what it says and what will actually happen is what is worrying me. I've notified the people that won the auction to remail the MO if they receive returned mail. I guess I'll just wait and see. Any suggestions?

If you've filled out and turned in a change of address form, they will forward mail for 12 months. However, the postal service isn't perfect, and they do make mistakes. It "should" come to your current address. It also depends on how the payers sent the money. If they happened to send it as certified mail, the post office may hold it and send you a slip saying you have to go there to sign for it and pick it up. If they sent it in a regular envelope with regular postage, it should arrive at your current address with a little yellow sticker saying it was forwarded to that address. But like I said, there's a small chance it'll end up at your old address.

When mail is sent to any address it will get there on time to that address even if you name is bazooka Joe or Jhon Smith.

My advice is to call the post office/ mail precent in the area to check if they have any mail for you there. Which you wil probably get no answer.

again telling the buyer that there money order is being sent to a faulty address they might think it is a scam.

My advice is to hang out by where you lived and ask for the mail when the postal worker is putting mail into the slots or if you still ahve the key go and check the mail.

Most of the time mail will take a week to reach one end of the US to the next end Hypo fast.

My advice is not to do that, for obvious reasons.

You stated you are cool with the new lady, have her pass them on to you. If it won't take to long, thats good, if it will add a delay then you have no choice but to inform the buyer and hope they are cool.
