Any deals on a new PS3?

My 60 GB PS3 just got the YLOD, so I'm thinking of just getting a new one, but money is super tight right now, so I'm wondering if there are any places I can get a good deal? So far Newegg has the best price at $250 with no tax/shipping. My only worry is shipping it rather than just picking it up from a store.

Any ideas?

Check out the Amazon Warehouse Deals thread. I got a 320GB Move bundle for $245 from there last week and it was brand new. I have seen a few 160GB pop up from time to time. If you're willing to take the chance with Warehouse deals you may get a good deal. I think most of the CAGs who have gone this route have gotten new systems.

You can call Sony and trade your 60gb and $99 for a refurbished PS3 slim. I did this when I had the YLOD for my 60gb. Though it does depend on the serial number of your ps3 to qualify. It's worth a shot.

TRU is having a $25 giftcard with the purchase of a 160GB slim next week. Not great, but it's as good as getting about 40% off a new game if you wanted.
