Any Donkey Konga

How much does Donkey Konga 2(without bongos) sell for? I am getting conflicting prices.

Best Buy, amazon, and Gamestop say its $40.
Circuit City and EB games say its $35.

Why the difference in price with these places?

It's whatever they want to charge. A game with such accessories is commonly different prices from place to place between the accessoried/not versions. I've seen the different bongo games (sans bongos) anywhere from $35-$50 and with bongos from $40-$60. It just depends on what retailer.

the frys thread says its 24.99 so if you have a frys nearby
 
Forget DK 1 and 2 for now, whats the best deal on Donkey Kong Jungle Beat with bongos?


EDIT Looks like it's $55 everywhere....damn
 
If I paid that much for Jungle Beat and the bongos, I would end up regreting it. I rented the game, and it is fun, but I finished it in 3 days. I didn't have every platinum crest, but I'm sure I could have gotten the rest of them in a few more days.

Seriously though, often if you call a store to price check a super cheap game, they will either say they don't have it (once they see the clearance price), or they'll tell you but buy the last copies before you get there. This is not generally the problem at Wal*Mart, but can be. At Wal*Mart, the problem is usually incompetance in giving the correct information to you. But take your chances, if you'd like.;)

I didn't mean to price check, I meant to see if something was in stock.....

I searched and could not find any posts on this. They are/were 19.99? If so, I've gotta do some Walmart-hopping tomorrow until I find one. :)

I think CAGs found two in the country that had mispriced the game as the bongo controllers. That's all that I am aware of. Fully worth $49.99, IMO.
 
i think it was clearanced in one city to $20 and wal-mart clearances are the biggest YMMV ever
my wal-mart doesnt even clearance things more than $5, one time they had a sign 1/2 off everything clearanced, i bought one thing(action replay for the cube 13$)and the manager took off the sign
 
True... I've witnessed those strange clearances (YMMV) at Walmart. I didn't know if it was just on sale... or a clearance thing. Thanks a lot for the responses. :)
