Any Geek Squad people?

Hey guys, I'm looking for a job this summer and the tech company I had hoped to work for (as a business intern) doesnt seem to be working out too well and since I still have quite a while to get that worked out I figured I'd apply somewhere that paid decent enough for a job that wasn't just the same bullshit 24/7.

So applied to the geek squad, and although the target Best Buy had no openings another one a bit farther away has contacted me, and we are talking about it again in a bit. It would be for four months, and I don't feel like dropping a job a few weeks into the summer.

So how do you guys like it?

How is the pay? I've heard $12/Hour and I requested at least $10/hour, so hopefully that works out well.

Give anyone a badge, and they think they grow a dick the size of their ego.
 
Ya but working for a place called GeekSquad, your ego cant grow THAT much. They should start a business called NERD CRUSHERS to keep those fuckers in check. Plus, muscley people have big egos already so a badge wont matter(It wont make their penis unshrink from the -roids tho).
 
Would the NERD CRUSHERS have shirts with that emblazoned on them? Because I'd buy that shirt.

I once saw a sign at Best Buy around the PC Games, it was like "need help installing it? Just call the Geek Squad!" and they wanted some insane fee, like $29.99 just to come install a PC game.

That shit is tough... sometimes CDs don't even have AutoPlay! All their installation fees are ridiculous, though I guess less so if you have no knowledge. I think their home networking setup was something like $130.
 
When I worked at a radioshack a guy that worked for BB in the Geeksquad was actually really cool. He came in once a week or so and we would just talk PC's or games. He was real cool and hooked me up with some cool sites for retail employees.
