I really want this game and I am growing impatient waiting for a price drop. Anyone know???
i know gamefly had it used for cheap not too long ago, dunno if they still do or not. I bought the game new at Target around release with a 48% off raincheck :)

Jerk :p

Gamefly has it used for non-members for 25, plus shipping.

Im mostly looking for new here. Will the price EVER drop????? btw how much do you guys think this game is really worth?

If you waited this long, it won't hurt to wait another six months. It'll drop. Hopefully sooner than that...

I've been waiting for it to drop to $20-$30...

Enlighten me... why does one need it new if they are looking for it to play?

Well some people have had 1-2 terrible experinces with used things and others like ZL just love the feeling of opening the wrapper on new games. Oh and if you get get a sealed copy cheap sometimes you can dump in on ebay for profit!

still if it's a game you truly want to play and don't wish to wait for... I mean 25 bucks for a used copy and the slight risk (Gamefly happens to be REALLY reliable) over 50 bucks new or perhaps 30-40 in a few months. You could have played it and beaten it and resold it perhaps by the time the price drops.

Sometimes the condition on used stuff is pretty bad, which kinda sucks if you like your stuff mint. But yeah, I pretty much agree with you though, when I'm looking just to play a game, not collect it, I usually just buy used.

Because some ppl take better care of their stuff than others... I dunno... I don't touch any of my videogame stuff without having clean hands (ie washing them) first...

I also clean my controllers so that when my naive friends play and their hands are all sticky or gross or they just sweat a lot I don't have to worry about grabbing a dirty controller later on... plus its nice using a clean controller than an oily one...

That and I generally take care of my stuff better than most other people, I don't leave stuff out in the sunlight, put my games back when I'm done playing (don't leave it in the ps2, or take it out and leave the disc laying somewhere) almost always put my games back with the cases standing up (other than my boxed stuff like Growlanser, Kof MI, etc), I don't smoke, clean regularly, have my games organized, etc etc...

I guess its peace of mind. That, and I don't mind waiting for the price to go down. I won't buy a game used unless thats pratically the only option (facing paying much much more for a new sealed copy).

You sound like Monk from that USA show. But seriously has anyone told you your anal about your video game equipment? I can understand caring for your games and all but they're just games.

I have to agree, it just sounds like a little too much care for games. I mean I take good care of my games, and stuff in general. However they are just physical things, and perfect condition or not won't matter when they put you in the ground.

It would matter if you toss up your entire collection to ebay right before you die! :p

Yes that actually is what I do, I've bout a half dozen games from gamefly and when I'm done I can sell or trade them for close to what I spent.

Well, I'm just a big CAG... born and raised as a cheapass... if it's cheaper it's for me.
I understand not the concept of new... my entire wardrobe comes from goodwill and my game collection in mainly preowned... but I still love them all the same.:p

I buy a lot of used games... Used clothes is where I draw the line though.
