Any info on Halo 3 midnight launch parties?

Can I pre order Halo 3 at Best Buy in store like we do at EBGAMEs? I got a coupon from facebook 10% off. I know you can pre order games online but I don't have a credit card.

You can preorder Halo 3 at BB, but I doubt they would let you use the coupon.

I would think if BB's in other parts of Canada are having them then atlest one or two of them in or around Vancouver will be doing it also.

Just came back from the BB in Richmond and my buddy that works there said they Will be having a midnight launch for Halo 3. He couldn't find any information on any bounces or gifts for the launch, but for sure they are having a midnight launch.
 
does anyone know if I got my copy expidited if i'll get it day of launch or day after? I preordered from BB online a while ago, and I don't think it would let me get the option of pickup instore on presales...so I had to get mine shipped. I used that other delivery method, not the ground one...but the 10 dollar one.

I guess bad for the people who did the Trade 4 promo, but I didn't plan on waiting in line for my BBV copy anyway.

Everytime I preordered a game from BB or FS, it shipped the day of the games release, so you will probably get it the day after unless they are doing something special for Halo 3
 
The Robson/Burrard HMV in Vancouver will have a midnight launch. Also worth noting is that according to displays they have in store, they will be selling the standard version for a lowered price of 49.99 for the first day only.
 
Going to phone the Wal-Mart in Winnipeg that's doing 24-hour operations now and see if they plan on having anything special, but I kind of doubt it...

Would be nice if it's $49.99 even though I have my CE pre-ordered through the Trade 4 for Free at BBV.

It also added it would be for the first day only (while supplies last, naturally), and I'd assume that it'd have to be an in-store purchase, hence why the website wouldn't display the lowered price.
