Ok, so this software company I work for in the summer is sending me to Waterville, ME at the end of the month. Unfortunately/fortunately, depending, I cannot fly out of Augusta on Friday, because my business won't finish until the late afternoon, and the last flight leaves at 1:40pm. So I must stay until Saturday, when the flight is, again, at 1:40pm.
I am a near rabid Stephen King fan, and I've never been to Maine before. Can I make it to Bangor from Waterville and back to Augusta for my 1:40 flight? Is it a bad drive? Do I need to worry about getting the compact car? How big IS the airport? Will there be much for me to go through in terms of checking in? I get the feeling of no on that last one, as I have to switch planes three times just to get back to Chicago.
Why oh WHY didn't I get my passport renewed? I could have bugged out Friday afternoon, crossed the border, stayed in Quebec and driven back the next morning!
