Last weekend the husband and I hoped to get one of the Playstation 3 bundles for $199.99 (I believe it had Little Big Planet as one of the games) from AAFES.
We were one of the first to the store when they opened and there was none to be found. Most of the employees tried to tell us that they had already all been bought, but after I did a little bit of pushing and finally talked to a manager they spilled the beans and admitted that there was an ordering mistake and they never got them in stock/accidentally sold what they did have the day before at the discounted price, before the advertised sale was supposed to start.
I still don't really know what exactly happened, but they promised to try to get us another bundle in stock and honor the advertised price since it's a little bit sketchy to advertise sales for products you don't actually have on hand.
At any rate, was the bundle with Little Big Planet 2 only for Black Friday? I was under the impression that it was. Are there any other bundles expected for the holiday season?
I'm worried that there's not anything really comparable to the original bundle and that I'll need to find another bundle sale before Christmas. Any other sales expected?
