Any QA/Game Testers here?

Get ready to do the same things in a game over and over and over to the point where you will eventually hate the game you're testing.
 
what was involved in you getting that position?

i'm looking to start out in a company myself, and will probably have to start either as a tester or phone.
 
I work QA. It's a really interesting job. Where I work is laid back as long as you get your stuff done. Just be ready to work long hours when the game is getting ready to submit.

That depends on the person and the game. I was on Guitar Hero World Tour and I can still play the game.
