Any tips on finding a Wii in stores?

I'm going to ask for one for my birthday (or at least get the money to buy one and two Wii games). I remember getting a PS2 back when the console was just released and I considered myself very lucky (went to Targets.)

I plan on calling stores in surrounding towns to see when they expect a shipment of Wii's...anything else I should do?

Also, I'm planning on selling my Xbox and Gamecube along with two games each and some controllers on eBay. The thing is: I'm new to eBay. It's scary >_>.

Check the stickied threads in the Game Deals forum. Find what stores have a Wii in their weekly ad. Go to that store early on Sunday.
