I'm not completely sure where to put this topic, but I figure here is good enough.

Here's the TV:

It's about the size I could fit into my dorm up at college, and it looked damn sharp when I saw it tonight at Target. I know it's a decently expensive set for up at college, but I live in a townhouse that only 10 people live in, and you have to have one of them let you in. Also, I have to let you into my room itself, so I think it'd be pretty safe. And if Best Buy has a Customer Appreciation Sale, there'd probably be a 10% off coupon, bringing it down to 585. And then, if I went to Delaware to get it, I could get it without tax, which would be awesome. I'm just not sure if it's a decent enough set...

I own this samsung.

I was very impressed by the set itself considering what I ended up paying. The only thing to look out for on samsung sets are geometry issues, but these can be adjusted via the service menu. I'm pretty happy with my purchase. I know the dynaflat is a good series of TV. You may want to look around a little bit though. You can get a 30" Widescreen in the 650ish range.

Samsung makes great sets. I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I game on an older 27" HDTV model (not widescreen, though).
