I've got a Comcast dual-tuner DVR and it's getting full and I don't want to delete some stuff. Is there anyway to transfer the shows to a DVD using my burner?
I have that (for different purposes), but I suppose you could run your DVR into this, and then capture it on your comp, and then burn it to a dvd. This particular one has an Svideo in too, so it should look nice.
There might be easier ways to do it, but there's one.

Yes, it can be done. Check out this thread on avsforum.com. I have yet to try it with mine (which is thru Cox cable but is the same box).
You'll need a PC with a firewire card in order to do it.
Also, this thread deals with getting the shows off the box, not with converting them to DVD. You'll have to reference other threads about getting them onto DVD.
