Any way to remove scratches on an IPOD?

Is there any way I can remove the scratches or replace the faceplate? Woops forgot to mention its the Ipod Video one.

i've heard [ yet to try ] to use Brasso and microfiber cloths to buff them out. suppose to be the best method.

and once you do get the scratches out, buy an InvisibleShield.

Wow! I gotta try that as well, I got some scratched stuff I need fixed.

OP, you know those CD scratch remover things? The ones with a little bottle and a buffing cloth? Try those, what it does is removes a layer of plastic( very small) to about the depth of the scratches. Well I am sure that is how Brasso works as well, eats through the plastic.
